Add a unique touch to a classic holiday item with this DIY snowglobe project! This DIY tutorial comes from the wonderfully creative people at A Little Craft in Your Day.
For this project, you will need:
-- Small figurine
-- Water-resistant glue (you can also use superglue)
-- Glitter
-- Glass jar (with lid)
-- Water
You can find the majority of these items at a craft store.

Glue the snowglobe center

Take the glue and glue the centerpiece of the snowglobe on the center of the lid of the jar. Allow the glue to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Fill the jar with water and glitter

Cover the bottom of the jar with glitter. Be generous with the glitter. Then, fill the jar with water. Make sure you fill it all the way to the top so that the snowglobe will work properly.

Seal the jar

Use glue to seal the lid. Screw the lid tightly onto the jar. Wait to flip the jar over until the glue has dried completely.

Shake it up and enjoy your unique snowglobe!

We made these sort of things many many years ago. It's always a quick and easy gift. It's even cooler if you put photo's inside. I had a bunch of my sons school pictures laminated and stuck them in little globes to give to family as little side gifts. They loved it.
