Yes the cookies rock and hot chocolate is so Christmas, but lets get to the good shit. You know, the stuff that will get you though Christmas with the family. Im talking the holiday drinks that truly bring that holiday cheer.
And if you like wine (you should), this one is just PERFECT...and classy enough that even your prissy sister in law can't turn her nose up at it.
Introducing The White Christmas Sangria!!
I was lucky enough to stumble upon this delicious sangria last winter and I have not be able to get it out of my mind since. To check out the original recipe and website click here!
3 Granny Smith apples
1-1/2 cups fresh cranberries
1 cup fresh raspberries
2 bottles dry white wine (think chardonnay)
1 cup white cranberry juice
1/4 cup sugar
16 ounces ginger ale
2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary
Putting It Together!
1. Cut the apples and the oranges and place into a pitcher. Cut however you think looks prettiest!
2. Add the cranberries and raspberries.
3. Combine the wine, sugar and cranberry juice. Stir gently so you don't smash the raspberries! Let chill for 30 minutes.
4. Once ready to serve top off with soda, and the rosemary and drink it down!!
