11 Disney Songs That Will Make You Cry

Before K-pop and way before Day6 I was a Disney girl. I don't necessary watch the T.V. shows but I grew up with them. Back in the days, my go-to station is Radio Disney. We were a big fan. My sisters won several prizes and tickets from their real-time phone events and we had a blast (Except one concert. We were in line but gave up because it was way too long).
I had a Disney throwback this weekend when my sister visited and we were looking through the old Disney artist we used to follow and we found these...

Hilary Duff - So Yesterday

She'll forever be the Queen of Disney. Forever Classy.

Lindsay Lohan - Ultimate

Miley Cyrus - 7 Things

Jonas Brother - S.O.S

This was when J.B. means Jonas Brothers. Not Justin Biebs. Not JB (from Got7).

Aly and AJ - Rush

From Twitches

Demi Lovato - This is Me

From Camp Rock 1

The Cheetah Girls

This whole block is dedicated to the Cheetah Girls. 1. Cinderella
2. Step Up
3. Amigas Cheetahs

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens - Breaking Free

From High School Musical 1

Jesse McCartney - Beautiful Soul

Selena Gomez - Who Says

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam

It's not over yet!

I thought this would never happened about a year ago Joe & Demi reunited and sang at Staples Center!

That is literally the reason why I started listening to kpop! I think "Poor kiddies" sometimes. Someone should go share a kpop song with them 😂 or the old school stuff back when there was Radio Disney @cindystran
My whole freaking childhood in one post😭😭😭 Kids these days have no idea
This is making me feel all the throwback feels. Hillary Duff was my lady. High school musical was my JAM
I STILL REMEMBER ALL OF THESE
@LexTay327 Disney was great back in the days. Growing up as a 90s kid wasn't bad at all. I think this is one reasons K-pop was appealing to me. I was tired of listening to American pop songs on the radio that lack meaning.

TBT: Fashion Icons of the Early 2000's
We all remember the early 2000's, and the girls who set the trends for us in our Teen People magazines. Forget Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Aniston; for those of us who were at the most impressionable ages of 10 to 16 in the aughts, these teen idols ruled our worlds, and the clothes they wore made us want to dress and be like them. Let's take a group throwback and look at some of the teens and tweens who dictated early aughts fashion. Amanda Bynes In Amanda's heyday, she was quite the tween idol, and had a pretty recognizable style on top of that. Brightly printed pants and skirts were her thing, only turning to denim in the form of an often-worn stonewash denim jacket. Her tight-fitting tees were the understated point on her outfits, which were always topped off with mini ponitails and braids on the top of her head that didn't not resemble antlers. Jessica Simpson In the days of "Newlyweds," Nick and Jessica were a couple we all thought would last, and Jessica's All-American fashion sense seemed like everything. Though her off-duty tracksuits and trucker hats showed a disinterest in fashion, her southern stagewear was all the rage. Who else here bought a pair of cowboy boots hoping we could get the Daisy Duke look? No? Just me? Hilary Duff As Lizzie McGuire, Hilary Duff seriously influenced many of our tween years and, consequentially, what we chose to wear. Like Amanda, Lizzie wore many a wacky updo, but combined them with accessories galore, from headbands to hairclips to layered necklaces. For clothes, she had a much more pseudo-bohemian thing going on, wearing peasant tops and blouses with bell sleeves to match her bell bottoms. Mandy Moore This actress didn't have anyone fooled with her occasional belly shirts; she was a good girl at heart and we knew it and loved her for it. She encouraged us to go ahead with that bob or pixie cut; how else would we show off our favorite chandelier earrings. Her fashion sense was sugary sweet to match her personality, and she definitely encouraged me to wear more pink. Britney Spears It didn't matter if she wore jumpsuits or miniskirts or spandex or lace; what Britney had, we all wanted. Her style was a neverending whirlwind of sex appeal, which many of her fans were too young to understand at the time, but we knew we would never be her. Rhinestones and a bare midriff seemed like the key to her style, but who knows, the next day she might be wearing head-to-toe leather. Oh Britney, you always kept us guessing. Rihanna Remember when Rihanna frist blew onto the scene with "Pon de Replay" in 2005 and our worlds were changed forever? Forget what a true style star she is today; Ri Ri's early style made us all want to wear tops that began and ended with our boobs, toned down with baggy pants and chunky kicks. Never forget oversized hoop earrings, which were the ultimate sign your style was "funky". Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen When Mary Kate and Ashley neared the end of their reign of movies together, they were at the height of their tween popularity. We couldn't all have a beautiful identical twin to coordinate outfits with, but we could crimp our hair and layer short sleeves over long sleeves and look almost as cute as them. Lindsay Lohan Who didn't covet Lindsay's punk-meets-pop style in the days of Freaky Friday? Her long red locks were too cool (especially with blonde streaks), and her cargo pant, tight top combinations were to die for. So early 2000's, so lovable. If only we knew how little we'd be seeing her in ten years. ...and then we have Christina Aguilera, and I don't know what I can say about her look, other than that my mother definitely didn't want her to be my style icon. Everything about her was sexy, cool, and dirrty. I stayed in the Lizzie McGuire style, but who did you model yourself after?
5 Celebrities Who Overcame Depression (And What You Can Learn)
A lot of people see celebrities as untouchable. That just isn't the case. Everyone experiences highs and lows. Nobody is impervious to the horrors of depression, but if these people are any indication, there is always hope! Take a look at some celebrities who have kicked depression's ass, and see how you can too. 1. Demi Lovato It's no secret that Demi has struggled with body image, self-harm and depression, but she uses her story as a testament to strength. She uses her music as a platform for positivity and her song, "Sky Scraper" is dedicated to those experiencing the same struggle. Demi checked herself into a treatment facility for bulimia, anorexia and bi-polar disorder. She experienced manic episodes and had a hard time adjusting to fame, but through her struggle she discovered she could help others. What you can learn: Demi preaches the "stay strong" mentality, and even has it tattooed on her wrists. Above all else if you can get through the next minute, next hour, next day, you will thank yourself because nothing on this earth is worth taking your life, or succumbing to depression. You will persevere. 2. John Hamm It may appear that Mr. Don Draper himself isn't lacking in the confidence department, but you'd be surprised. He is a testament to the fact that you never know what's happening inside of people's minds. His depression stemmed from the loss of his parents. He realized that there were options for him though, which is a great thing to learn from. He also learned to have no shame...because it's not something to hide. What you can learn: Sometimes professional help is really the best option. Work with a therapist, psychiatrist...whatever. Get some perspective, because you are NEVER as alone as you think. This is something I should take into account as well. 3. Pete Wentz The Fall Out Boy bassist has had a pretty public struggle with depression. I understand his guilt for being happy. That is something that people who are depressed never fully understand. Happiness does not have a price. When you're dealing with heavy things you feel like you owe the world for your success, your triumph. That's what depression does. What you can learn: Wentz found a fantastic creative outlet in his lyrics. He channeled his negative energy into creating some of the biggest pop-rock hits of this generation, and honestly people connected with him because of it, and in turn he felt less alone. Find something you feel safe doing, and do it. Putting your struggle out there is the first step to getting better. Because there are probably a million others just like you. 4. Lady Gaga Mother Monster has made herself a champion of positivity, but everyone has dark days. Her biggest struggle occurred at the end of 2013 when she couldn't perform because of hip issues. She then revealed during an Art Rave concert in London that she was on medication for depression. She wanted the audience to know that it's okay, and you shouldn't be ashamed of it. What you can learn: Gaga said that depression doesn't take away your talents. Often when we're feeling down we think that we're not worth anything. We feel like we have nothing to offer, and that's not true. It's easy for us to hate ourselves, the harder path is to love. It takes longer, it makes us think harder, but once that acceptance comes it will be a wonderful thing. 5. J.K. Rowling The most successful modern author on the planet had some hard times before her success. Her marriage dissolved after two years and it threw her into a tailspin. She lost her job and was working trying to support her children. She didn't see any hope, until she started working on Harry Potter What you can learn: Never say never. It doesn't matter what failures arise, you can get through them. By finding something to live for, like a story, a person or even some distant possibility, you will find your way back to happiness. Imagine if she had given up, where would we all be? We wouldn't have the beautiful Harry Potter stories, and an entire generation of people would have grown up completely differently. You will make an impact. You just have to give yourself the chance!
6 Exercises Demi Lovato Does on Tour
Working out on tour is no fun (to see other celebrities try to fit workouts in --> http://www.vingle.net/posts/530100) so its pretty impressive that Demi is so dedicated. Try to do three sets of these moves three times a week for a rocking bod like Demi's! 1) Lunge-Kick Combo - Stand with feet hip-width apart holding a 10-pound dumbbell in each hand, arms by sides. - Lunge back with right leg, bending both knees 90 degrees. - Pressing through left heel, stand up on left leg as you bring right knee up and kick right leg forward. - Return to rear lunge and repeat. Do 10 reps; switch legs and repeat. 2) Curtsy with Side Kick - Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, arms bent by sides. - Lunge right leg diagonally back, crossing it behind left leg, and lower into a curtsy. - Stand up on left leg as you swing right leg directly out to right side. Return to curtsy position and repeat. - Do 10 reps; switch sides and repeat. 3) Wood Chop Squat - Securely attach one end of a resistance band to a sofa leg or a sturdy post. Stand, feet hip-width apart, with your left side to sofa and grasp other end of band in both hands, fists by left hip (choke up on band to take up slack). - Squat, then stand up as you pull band diagonally upward toward the right, rotating torso toward right. Return to squat. - Do 10 reps; switch sides and repeat. 4) Plank Walk Push-Up - Stand with feet hip-width apart, then hinge forward from hips and place palms on floor in front of feet. - Walk hands forward until body is in plank position, then do a push-up. Walk hands back toward feet to return to start. - Do 10 reps. 5) Burpee - Stand with feet hip-width apart, then crouch and place palms on floor in front of feet. - Jump feet back into plank position, then jump feet toward hands again and stand up. Jump high, reaching arms overhead. Land with knees slightly bent and repeat. - Do 10 reps. 6) Crunch - Lie faceup on floor, knees bent, feet flat, and touch hands lightly to ears, elbows out to sides. - Crunch up then lower. Do 20 reps.
5 Living Celebrities Who Battled Drug Addiction
Hope for some, Not for others. They're the stars you love, many formerly childhood stars, now all grown up taking on the hardest battles off their lives, alcohol and drug addictions. It's shocking at how drastic their physical appearances have changed with the introduction of these harmful chemicals entering their body. For some, they have never been able to recover, and some have been able to get sober. It's an everyday battle for many of them. We all watch in judgement of their decisions but growing up in the spotlight is more pressure than any of us realize. And the sad reality is that they turn to drugs and alcohol to suppress these issues. Check out where these stars are today with their drug addictions! 1. Drew Barrymore She's one of Hollywood's most beloved child stars who became a Hollywood icon into her adult life. She's the perfect girl next door and audiences have fallen in love with her time and time again. However, many don't know that Barrymore struggled with drug addiction. She had very early exposure to drugs and alcohol leading to poor choices and bad influences. Barrymore had her first drink and cigarette at age 9, marijuana at age 10, and dabbled in coke at age 12. At age 13, she had to undergo extensive drug treatment TWICE as she followed in the same path that many child stars do. Her father, John Drew Barrymore, had a history of drug and alcohol arrests. Today, Barrymore is sober. 2. Mary-Kate Olsen In 2004, in the wake of the famous Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen's 18th birthday party, Mary-Kate was getting a lot of press. Why? Because she was looking extremely frail and drugs were behind it but no one wanted to say anything. Her sister Ashley was with her at all public appearances and it was obvious that Ashley was remaining healthy, young, and robust. However, Mary-Kate had frail hair and was constantly being photographed with enormous dark circles beneath her eyes. Soon, Mary-Kate was put in rehab for treatment of undisclosed addictions. Reports of relapse surfaced again in 2013. Today, her drug of addiction has never been disclosed but many still believe she is in a constant battle with anorexia. 3. Lindsay Lohan She was America's sweetheart being the most adorable child star to grace the silver screen. With her HUGE success in "The Parent Trap", "Freaky Friday, and "Mean Girls", there was nothing this Hollywood star couldn't do. That is, until the drugs and alcohol became a problem. In 2013, Lohan sat down with Oprah four days after completing her sixth stint in rehab. After Oprah asked Lohan if she was an addict, Lohan quickly responded, "Yes." She said that alcohol was her drug of choice and eventual gateway into experimenting with other drugs such as cocaine. Her first arrest was due to possession and under the influence of alcohol and cocaine. Many of her rowdy party behavior and poor decision making is due to her chaotic family life. She's had to do community service, stay on probation, and faced jail time since 2013. Today, she's still under harsh addiction to alcohol and cocaine. 4. David Hasselhoff Of course you know him from Baywatch which is actually getting a reboot with Zac Efron. However did you know that he was an alcoholic? One of his most famous alcohol scares was when he was hospitalized after being extremely intoxicated to the point where his daughter didn't think he would survive the alcohol binge. Hasselhoff has been hospitalized many times which ultimately led to the failure of his marriage and struggling career. However, today, he is clean and sober announcing in 2009 of redemption. 5. Zac Efron In 2014, Zac Efron candidly opened up to the public about his alcoholism. For being Hollywood's biggest heartthrob, you'd never know something was wrong. He knew he was drinking too much being in his 20's, a star in hollywood, and being single led to his drinking habits. He ended up going to rehab while also joining Alcoholics Anonymous and seeing a therapist. It's very noticeable that Zac felt that he was trying to fill a void during his unhappiness that led to alcohol. He has learned to lead a healthier life staying away from alcohol, eating better, and exercising everyday. Efron has said that he still faces struggles even today, "it's a never ending struggle."

Nick Jonas's Diabetes Story
Nick Jonas was just beginning his time in a band with his brothers when he began dealing with cold like symptoms, weight loss, bad attitude, and more symptoms. He went to the doctor with his parents, and discovered that his blood sugar was incredibly high--rapidly approaching 800. While staying in the hospital for a few days, he learned that he had diabetes, and was overwhelmed with the news. Nick has Type I diabetes, but those with Type II can still learn from his experiences! As he learned more about the disease and how to manage it, he made the decision to be very public about it, because he knew it would be encouraging for those who he was able to connect with on stage to be able to relate to his journey if they too were afflicted with the disease. As someone living with diabetes, Nick has given a lot of advice to others learning about and living with diabetes: - Understand that it is a full life change, and that it will be difficult. You will eventually adjust, even if you don't think you can survive this way at first. - Learn about how your body, specifically, reacts to exercise and carbohydrates. Even though he gets a ton of exercise on stage, he also plays golf and other games because he has found it helps him. - Rely on your family and doctors more than you want to; don't be afraid to ask for help. You don't need to go through this alone, and you shouldn't. With these tips, Nick thinks that anyone can find the perfect balance for managing their diabetes without becoming too discouraged.
