A Christmas Album Recorded By Goats Is Officially Here.
Sick of Bing Crosby? Over Michael Bublé? If you're like me and finding that your annual Christmas carols are getting pretty stale, might I suggest to you the latest release from global poverty non-profit ActionAid, now available on Spotify.
'All I Want For Christmas Is A Goat' is a 10-track recording of all of your holiday favorites covered by a chorus of goats. There's 'Silent Night' (by goats), 'Jingle Bells' (by goats), and for the kids, how about a totally 'goated out' version of 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer'?
ActionAid assures that 'All I Want For Christmas Is A Goat' is "the most important Christmas album" you'll listen to this year. According to the non-profit, goats are more than just an adorable companion, but also provide milk and wool to villages in need. ActionAid hopes that the popularity of their Christmas album will encourage listeners to sponsor a goat this holiday season, which will be sent to a community currently living in poverty.
Check out more about the charity's efforts to end world poverty here, and for more bleets and rhymes, hunt down 'All I Want For Christmas Is A Goat' (for free!) on Spotify.
