Yep, it's that time of year again when you are already running late and run out of your house and hop into your car only to realized the windshield is completely covered in ice. UGH! Don't worry — there is no need to scrap all of that ice off while freezing your hands. This DIY windshield ice melter is the perfect solution for annoying ice on your windshield. Keep a bottle of it in your car just in case. This DIY tutorial comes from the great people at The Mama's Girls.
For this project, you will need:
-- 24 oz. spray bottle
-- 2 oz. rubbing alcohol
-- 5 drops of dish soap
-- Warm water
Mix the liquids
Pour the rubbing alcohol into the bottle first. Then, add the 5 drops of the dish soap. Fill the rest of the bottle up with warm water. Replace the cap on the top of the bottle. Then, shake the bottle to mix the solution.
