When a plus size model is the face of Christian Louboutin, that's when you know body positivity is making a name for itself and I must say, it's about time. Clementine Desseaux has made a name for herself and the popular luxury brand by putting curvier girls on the map with Louboutin's new campaign [see video below].
Desseaux spoke with the daily mail and explained her feelings towards such an accomplishment saying, "such big French brand using a curvier girl for her face is a big step. The beauty norm is changing and differences that used to be weaknesses are now turning into strengths. They are opening up to all the beauty that is in the world and not only the European, blonde, skinny, white women type." It's amazing to see that these high fashion brands are finally catching on and getting a clue. All bodies are equal.
