Hey Vingle Nakama!
As our awesome community of nakama continues to grow, I think it is prudent for us all to get a refresher about how to publish cards into communities. Every community is a precious place for people to come and fangirl/fanboy over the things they love most.
So here we go!
Here's how Communities work:
A community is a specific place for people to gather around their shared interest.
For example, people in the Fairy Tail community are there to talk about Fairy Tail, and all the awesomeness that that entails. If they want to maybe check out some One Piece stuff, they can go to the One Piece community.
But when they are in the Fairy Tail community, all they should see is the wonderful antics and other beautiful things the guild brings to us!
What happens when cards are published incorrectly:
All of a sudden, you find crazy unwarranted images of Vegeta or Goku in Fairy Tail, and even though those guys are awesome in their own right, there's sure to be Fairy Tail fans who don't want to see that in the community!
These cards about Vegeta or Goku are more than welcome in the Japanese Anime community and Dragon Ball community, though! That's the places where they make sense and belong!
When stray images wind up in the wrong communities, Happy gets reduced to tears! Let's keep Happy, well, happy!
What about 'other' Japanese communities?
Sometimes there's an awesome image you really want to get everyone to see, and that's cool! But be careful to make sure it's relevant to the communities you want to post it in. Most any anime card is welcome in the Japanese Anime community. You don't have to tag every other anime-related community to make sure people will see it!
Unless the card is specifically about learning Japanese, it doesn't belong in Learn Japanese. Also, unless the card is about real-life people, it shouldn't go into Japanese Movies.
You also want to avoid some misconceptions - for instance, Manhwa is specifically Korean comics. So anything Japanese anime doesn't belong there! It can be easy to get tricked up by the spelling stuff, but be careful!
On the spelling note, also be sure that when you post a Fairy Tail card, it isn't going into Fairy Tale. These are very different interests!
Let's all work together like our favorite guild to keep our communities organized!
