The last video presentation/press conference for Super Smash Bros. Wii U just ended a couple of hours ago. And I've got to say it took me a while to get my thoughts together because I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY HYPE FOR ALL OF THE ANNOUNCEMENTS.
I don't know if I should make some kind of disclaimer but I think you guys know this about me by now, I get really excited about almost everything. Even though I only eat potato chips, I don't get salty about announcements as much. I get super fucking pumped.
Okay, let's go.

Bayo is coming! Oh my God, so awesome!

Even though I should've built up to this, I just couldn't. It's absolutely amazing that Bayonetta is coming to Smash. In my opinion, it's like perfect fit. Bayonetta 1 and 2 are very much character-action games (if you don't know what that means, they're games like Devil May Cry and God of War) and I feel like she works perfectly in Smash.
The one thing I will say though, is that it seems like a lot of her moves seem really OP (over-powered). She very much seems like she's a top-tier character but I can't really commit to that statement because I haven't used her in game. But just the way she can come in and out of combos looks insane (I don't want to say it looks easy but it does, again when I finally get to play her, I'll probably have a more solid opinion).
It looks like they're pushing for a February release for Bayonetta.

Oh my gosh Corrin! Wait... who is that?

So, this might be the oddest choice of character to add into the game. Corrin is the main character of Fire Emblem: Fates, a game that's been out for a while in Japan but has yet to be released stateside. It seems a little bit like a weird cross promotional thing that Nintendo is doing. The main grab here is that we get to play a character before their game comes out. Which is confusing to me because won't Corrin play differently in Fire Emblem than they* will in Smash?
I will say that it worked on me though. I mean, I'm totally intrigued about this new Fire Emblem game that's coming out. And it seems like a lot of decisions will be made throughout and you guys definitely know that I'm into decision making and games that allow for that. We'll see, though. I'm not too sure if I'll get Corrin along with the other DLC characters though.
Corrin is expected to be released in February.

*I used the "they" pronoun because Corrin is gender fluid. That was one of the talking points during the presentation. That Corrin can be played either male or female. And that's pretty awesome.

Cloud Breakdown

The breakdown of Cloud's moves was pretty awesome and it made it a little clearer. Some of his moves seem a little OP. Since his Limit Break is separate from his Final Smash. His down-B move strictly charges his Limit Break Meter and once charged, it changes all of his B-moves into stronger versions of them. It seems like if a player gets good with Cloud they'll definitely dominate over everyone they're playing with/against.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's pretty much all that was announced. A plethora of Mii Fighter outfits were announced as well and only one really got my attention...

KNUCK, KNUCK, IT'S KNOCKLES!
