News Years is coming and I for one can not wait to get on to 2016 already! Yes, there were some fantastic times in 2015, but I just know 2016 is a year full of amazing surprises and tons of opportunities to grow!
But in order to become a better person in 2016, there is some baggage that needs to be left back in 2015. I'm not saying it will be easy, but letting go of these 3 things will make 2016 a much better year.

Any and all fights and feelings of animosity.

Loved ones fight. I don't care if its your best friend, your sibling, your S.O., or even your parents, but you will get into fights and the closer you are to the person, the worse they will be. The New Year is a time to forget about the fights, to forgive the harsh words said in anger, and to let the grudge leak out of your pores. Your loved ones will always be there for you, so start the New Year fresh and joyful, because really, whats the point of living if you don't have people you love at your side?

Body Image Issues

I know this is a toughy, but right now you need to take a second and remind yourself that you are beautiful, and there is no one in the world that is just like you. Fuck the social standards of beauty, they can not be more stupid and you are wasting your time and beautiful energy worrying about how you look. 2016 is your year to love you, to look in the mirror and like what you see, to buy that amazing outfit that is totally out of your comfort zone. And trust me, your confidence will make you even more attractive!

Our own personal judgements of others.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, will ever start more fights, more drama, and more personal paranoia then our own judgments of others. Negative thoughts of others will only breed negative thoughts of ourselves as we turn our way too critical eye to the mirror. Save the judgements for someone else, because not judging others will only lead to a happier, much more fulfilling life. Oh, and you'll make (and keep) a lot more friends if you are judgement free!!
This is brilliant, Liz. I couldn't agree More.
I especially like the thought about fights... I try not to hang on to bad feeling about a person. it's not the person is bad, it's just the issue. and it's over now.
