You might want to brace yourselves for this one.
What if NYFW was open to everyone? Well, your wish might just come true. According to WWD, Boston Consulting Group has been hired by the Council of Fashion Designers of America to upgrade New York Fashion Week. While upgrading, the consulting group just might have a trick up their sleeve. Curious what that may be? Well, NYFW is meant to be geared towards consumers who want to buy and wear the pieces showcased immediately and that's just what they deserve.
This little shift in agendas will bring the main focus of fashion week back to the clothing and this leaves editors and PR the opportunity to get the information they need at private appointments and showrooms. Although this wouldn't affect the upcoming NYFW festivities, we still aren't sure that our wishes will be granted. But if they are, oh, what a happy day that would be. I can only imagine being front row to a show with some of the best designers of the season. A girl can dream, right?
Ladies, it's time to do a little shopping.
Okay, maybe it's too soon. But what would you wear?
