The holidays are all about giving, and Chance the Rapper is surely in tune with the mantra of the holiday season.
Chance The Rapper appeared on Chicago radio station WGCI’s Chicago Morning Takeover and announced the “Warmest Winter” initiative. The campaign looks to raise $100,000 to provide 1,000 coats to Chicago’s homeless population.
The fundraising is being done through the crowdsourcing site CrowdRise.com.
This is breath of fresh air from Chance, as most of his headlines as of late have been focused on his dislike of the Spike Lee film "Chi-Raq."
I'm very confident that Chance will reach his target goal of 100,000 dollars.
