Charles Barkley: Warriors 'very small,' no match for Bulls of '95-96
As the Warriors continue to pile on victories, they become closer to matching the 95-96 Bulls 72 win season.
As a result, the comparisons have been made by fans and media members across the globe.Charles Barkley, who got two first-hand looks at those Bulls in the last of his four-season stint with the Phoenix Suns, says it's not even close.
"That Bulls team would kill this little team," Barkley said of the Warriors in an interview Thursday with ESPN Radio's Waddle & Silvy show in Chicago. "Come on, man. Who is going to guard Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan? What about Dennis Rodman?"
"Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman -- let me just start with those three," Barkley said. "First of all they would love playing the way the Warriors play. It's a much easier game now. Could you imagine how many points Michael would average if you couldn't touch him? Dennis would get so many rebounds against that team. They are a very small team."
Right now, the Golden State Warriors are 26-1 and are the defending NBA Champions. They also have the leagues 2015 MVP, Stephen Curry, who is playing amazing basketball right now.

Do you think the Warriors could beat the 95-96 Chicago Bulls?

Charles is crazy, first off we all know Jordan would get his,Now on to Curry, who on the Bulls team would be able to stop him,Thompson wouldn't be to affective because of Jordan but would get atleast 15 points, apparently Barkley has no clue what he's talking about when he said who's stopping Pippen, did he watch the the adjustment made to put Iquadala on Lebron? He contained lebron and lebron is better than Pippen. As far as Rodman goes, how is he going to get rebounds when Dramond Green is a stretch 4 that will keep him outside the lane. And the centers for the bulls were slow,so that evens out really. I'll take the Warriors over the Bulls even tho I'm not a warriors fan.

Disagree. Nowadays competitions is just so much more intense with technology breakthroughs and more money flowing in the market. What a team does, what a player does gets around so fast. Also it is so much easier to analyze, videotape, scout, train, etc. and obviously people do it more to win than when we didn't have internet... lol . Granted, Jordan was a great player, but Warriors would destroy Bulls, given that how much players and teams are studying to win these days.
