Santa Claus and Sports Rivalry

Christmas is the season to be merry and joyful.

But not in the world of sports.

A game or match on Christmas day is just like any other games. It can even get nastier because there are more fans watching especially if it's between regional rivals like Manchester United and Manchester City. But Christmas is dominated by the color red, which is the symbolic color for Manchester United while Manchester City proudly supports sky blue as their color. Thus, after a handful of complaints from City fans to Santa Claus, what did he decide to do?
That's right.

A half-and-half Santa Claus for the two teams from Manchester!

So if a Manchester City fan comes up to take a photo with him, he can show his "blue side" to go along with not only the Christmas theme, but also the fandom side!
Merry Christmas to all my sports fans and enjoy your holidays with your favorite teams and even though tis the season to be jolly...

Root for your favorite teams with more passion and intensity this holiday!

EPL Arsenal's for the taking?
Arsenal beat Man City in what is surely one of the biggest EPL results we've had this season so far. And guess what? It was the exact score that I predicted! Arsenal 2, Manchester City 1. That's why they call me the Sports Guru ;) This, as they say, was a true 6-pointer. City could've leapfrogged Arsenal with a win and moved to within 3 points of Leicester, but instead it's Arsenal who will enter Christmas in 2nd behind the leaders Leicester City. A stunning goal by Theo Walcott got the scoring started - he curled one around Joe Hart, leaving the keeper no chance - and Olivier Giroud doubled the advantage before the half with a clever finish of his own, continuing his amazing run of form that has him playing the best football of his life. Yaya Toure hit a classic Toure goal - the sort we've seen from him from time to time over the past 5 or so seasons, where he curls a one-time effort into the top corner - but it wasn't enough for City, who will rue some missed chances by Kevin de Bruyne and others. A great game, but Arsenal are the ones to walk away with the points. At this point, I think we have to see Arsenal as favorites to win the league, even though Leicester top the table. I think everyone - Leicester players included - believes that at some point their form will slip. I think they have an excellent chance of finishing top 4, but I don't think they'll hold on long enough to win the league. And Arsenal look to have turned a corner with their form, as they are finally finding consistency and winning matches against difficult opponents. With Ozil, Giroud and Walcott in the form they are, plus an excellent defense that has allowed just 14 goals in 17 matches, I think Arsenal have what it takes to win the league this season. What do you say? Gunners to the title? @InPlainSight @AbdulrahmanSaad @trinityarcangel @thefeels @MarcusJiles @DerekGumtow @havic @yaakattackk @bnzatton @SherzTYCi @krishntejanand @addri @mishthi @andwas @NimishMathur @Sydsocquet @starli @kyleatekwana @BenjiPhilip @Eduardo14 @AshfakEjaaz @EmanueleYagoda
EPL Match of the Week: Arsenal vs. Man City
We've got one match this week that stands out above the rest, and it comes to us on Monday afternoon, 2PM ET. It's Arsenal vs. Man City - who takes it? City are coming off a good win over Swansea City, though they left it to late to steal 3 points. It was an important win for them as they kept pace with those at the top of the table. Midfielder David Silva is back from injury and is playing super football, showing again how valuable he is to this team. They just aren't the same team without him. With his form plus that of Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne, City have maybe the league's most powerful midfield. Goalkeeper Joe Hart is in great form in net, too, and is saving some real stunning shots to keep City safe. 32 points from 16 matches puts City right toward the top, fighting neck and neck with other title contenders. The often-criticized Olivier Giroud is in the form of his life for Arsenal at the moment, coming off a huge hat trick in the Champions League against Olympiacos to secure Arsenal's advance to the knockout stages. He scored again last week against lowly Aston Villa and is proving to everyone that he can be the main striker for a title-winning side. Mesut Ozil is also incredibly impressive week in and week out and has a ridiculous 13 assists in the league this season. Arsenal sit ahead of City by just one point, with 33 from 16 matches. My pick This is a very tough one to call. With the match being played at the Emirates and Arsenal's form as strong as it is, I'm going to have to take the Gunners. I'll say 2-1 to Arsenal in a big win. Lampard proof City’s Liverpool legend interest is serious
There is widespread panic across Liverpool as the future of their one-club captain, Steven Gerrard, threatens to turn into the transfer saga of next summer. The former England captain’s contract at Anfield expires at the end of this season and with the club yet to offer their idol an extension, Gerrard put the frighteners on his devoted fans by revealing that he’d be happy to sign for someone else as a free agent. drow names With no plans to retire at the end of the current campaign, in which the Reds are 11/8 to retain their top-four status, Gerrard has firmly put the ball in Brendan Rodgers’ court as to where his future lies. That hasn’t stopped an orderly queue forming for the midfielder’s signature, though and at the front of it is Manchester City. Financial Fair Play regulations will limit the Citizens’ spending next season and the club seeGerrard as the perfect bargain. Having already successfully extended Frank Lampard’s top-flight career after his release from Chelsea, it’s clear the defending Premier League champions do not discriminate against age. Lampard’s loan from MLS club New York City FC can be regarded as a success after he notched the equalising goal against his former employers earlier in the season and Manuel Pellegrini is on record stating his belief that, like the one-time Blue, Gerrard has fuel left in the tank. “I don’t ever rate players on their age. It depends on the money they cost and the number of years they can play for,” Pellegrini said recently. Both factors make Gerrard the perfect City target then, and if Liverpool don’t act swiftly, that interest could soon turn into a permanent transfer. Fancy a flutter? [Discussion] Who will win the EPL?
This weekend, the EPL takes a break from regular league play to shift focus to the FA Cup. That gives us a minute to step back and take a look at the league so far. With 23 of 38 rounds in the books, who is going to win the league? The way I see it, there are four real challengers. Leicester City Leicester are the team that shocks the world more and more each week as they inch closer to the title. They currently hold a 3 point lead in the league, sitting on 47 points. It has been a remarkable season for a team that was nearly relegated last season and didn't appear to get all that better over the summer. But they have been inspired by Riyad Mahrez, N'Golo Kante and Jamie Vardy and look to be ready to make a legitimate race toward the end. Despite everyone's reservations, Leicester are in it to win it. Arsenal At this point it seems that Arsenal are favorites. While they are 3 points behind Leicester, they are just now getting many of their injured players back (Alexis Sanchez, Francis Coquelin) and they have a very experienced roster, full of players who are used to playing in huge matches. That experience could prove invaluable for a team that is looking to win its first league title in ages and ages. The fan base wants it, and this could be the year that Arsenal break their curse. Manchester City City are another team with a great pedigree. They are full of experience and talent, and many of the players on this team were around when City last won the league a few season ago. They are no doubt hungry to repeat that success, and are level with Arsenal on points. However, they just got news that superstar newcomer Kevin de Bruyne will be out 6 weeks, which could seriously hurt their chances. He has been one of their star performers this season. Tottenham Spurs are the sleepers in this race, sitting 5 points behind leaders Leicester. But their form has been superb. They have one of the best goalkeepers in the world in Hugo Lloris and a terrific defense to boot, not to mention their talisman Harry Kane and the blossoming midfielder Dele Alli proving to be one of the most exciting players around. Many see Spurs as more pretenders than contenders, but I'm not ready to count them out. My money is on Arsenal. I think they have the squad depth required to make it happen, with the experience and quality they have on their roster. I'm not counting out any of these teams and I honestly think anyone could win, but for the moment, I'm picking Arsenal. Who do you think will win the league when it's all said and done? @InPlainSight @AbdulrahmanSaad @trinityarcangel @thefeels @MarcusJiles @DerekGumtow @havic @yaakattackk @bnzatton @SherzTYCi @krishntejanand @addri @mishthi @andwas @NimishMathur @Sydsocquet @starli @kyleatekwana @BenjiPhilip @Eduardo14 @AshfakEjaaz @EmanueleYagoda @Bobs
Man City Trophy Specials: Citizens 22/1 for success at home and abroad
Manuel Pellegrini’s first season in English football proved to be a rather successful one after his Manchester City side claimed a Premier League and Capital One Cup double. And with Pellegrini wasting no time in reinforcing his squad with the likes of midfielder Fernando, defender BacarySagna and goalkeeper Willy Caballero the Citizens look in good shape to claim yet more silverware. dnd drow names The Premier League champions are as short as 8/15 to win any major trophy (excluding the Community Shield) during this campaign and with City addressing their perceived defensive weakness last season, they look a good bet to fill the trophy cabinet up again during the upcoming term. A case for the defence Former Arsenal star Sagna is already through the Etihad Stadium door and he could be joined by his international colleague EliaquimMangala, if reports are to be believed. Captain Vincent Kompany is the best defender in England’s top flight but he is yet to have a partner at the heart of the defence who is even close to his standard. With Sagna, who can also play centre-back, and Mangala in their ranks City could well be on for a repeat of last season with a Premier League and League Cup double priced at 12/1. City, who are 15/8 joint-favourites for the title, cannot be written off claiming a third Premier League win in four years and after claiming the FA Cup back in 2011, the Etihad faithful will be keen to lift the famous old trophy once again. A league and FA Cup double is also priced at 12/1 with a domestic treble, something that has never been achieved in England, is available at odds of 50/1. City managers judged on European performance But as Roberto Mancini can attest to, Manchester City managers are judged by how their sides get on in European competition and Pellegrini will be looking to go past the last-16 this time around. A Lionel Messi-inspired Barcelona knocked the Citizens out of Europe last season but if the Chilean manager can keep Sergio Aguero fit and get strikers Eden Dzeko and Alvaro Negredo firing in tandem there is no reason the Sky Blues can’t go all the way at 10/1. City for the quadruple? City are priced at 22/1 to claim Premier League and Champions League glory, while the confident City fan may want to have a punt on a league, FA Cup and European Cup treble (100/1) being celebrated come May next year. But if you see no weakness in this season’s current crop in the sky blue shirt then back Pellegrini’s men for an unprecedented quadruple (Premier League – FA Cup – Capital One Cup – Champions League) at odds of 500/1. Fracture & Ligament Injuries Are The Most Common Sports Injuries : Overview By MnM
According to Stanford Children’s Health, approximately 30 million adolescents and children in the US participate in sports annually, and more than 3.5 million sports injuries are reported each year. According to the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers, an estimated 2 million acute ankle injuries occur annually in the US.  The major restraining factor for the growth of sports medicine market is high cost of implants. The cost of these implants is a major concern for market growth in countries such as India, where only a small section of the population is under insurance coverage (according to the IRDA, in 2017, 76% of the Indian population was uninsured).  Due to the pandemic, most organized sports activities have been on hold or postponed. In March 2020, the International Olympic Committee postponed the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympic to 2021. Such developments are expected to significantly affect the growth of the sports medicine market in the coming months.   For More Information Download PDF Brochure @ https://www.marketsandmarkets.com/pdfdownloadNew.asp?id=751 The incidence of ligament tears and fractures is high among people participating in sports. Also, the lower extremity constitutes a major portion of sports injuries, globally. With the increasing participation in sports (among children as well as adults) and subsequent growth in the incidence of sports injuries, the demand for injury management and rehabilitation is expected to increase across the globe. This is considered a positive indicator of the growth of the sports medicine market.  In the sports medicine field, there is an increasing need for trained professionals with the relevant experience and knowledge about using orthobiologics and performing specific surgeries. Sports medicine surgeons provide diagnosis and treatment for musculoskeletal injuries and related disorders that are caused during sports activities.  Sports medicine is widely used for the prevention of sports injuries as well as for the cure, recovery, and rehabilitation of athletes. The sports medicine applications market is segmented into knee injuries, shoulder injuries, foot & ankle, elbow & wrist, back & spine, hip & groin, and other injuries.
