If you are still looking for some last-minute gift ideas, I've got you covered. This DIY project is great for giving a personalized gift that is easy and takes very little time. This project is also easy enough that it's great for kids. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Kylie's Korner.
For this project, you will need: -- Tissue paper
-- Wax paper
-- Hair dryer or heat gun
-- Permanent markers
-- Printer paper
-- Large candle
You can find the majority of these items at a craft store.
Draw your designs
Place a sheet of tissue paper on top of a sheet of printer paper (this will protect the surface underneath the tissue paper and it will make it easier to draw on the tissue paper). Then, draw the designs on the tissue paper. This is where you can let your creativity run wild.
Cut out the design
Use the scissors to cut around your design. Place the design on the candle, as shown in the picture.
Transfer the design to the candle
Place a piece of wax paper over the design on the candle. Then, use the hair dryer (make sure it's on the highest heat setting) to transfer the design to the candle. Move the hair dryer back and forth over the design for about 30-40 seconds. Carefully remove the wax paper and tissue paper.
Give as a gift to your favorite friend or family and enjoy!
