Over the weekend, Walmart decided to cut ties with Rick Ross and no longer support his music in their stores.
The Rick Ross’ Black Market album was pulled from Walmart because of a Donald Trump assassination line on the track “Free Enterprise.”
Rather than get upset, Ross took the high road and hopped on social media to drop hints at a new big retailer that may been looking to support his music.
During a video clip on Instagram, Ross says “They say they banned us at Walmart, but they don’t know I live across the street from the n*gga that owns Target,” revealed Ross, before letting out a hearty laugh.
Walmart may miss out on a lot of money over this one. It's been awhile since I've seen a retailer cut ties with an artist over a music line.
