Above San Diego Comic Con Okay Archer fans, I did some Internet digging... And you know how the Internet can lie. But, I do have a few trusted sites like " cinema blend" , Zap2it, TV Series Finale and I digital spy! So let's dig in!
First I'm going to dig in and say Rest in peace to the actor that played our beloved Woodhouse, George Coe.. He past July of 15 and he was 86.
It feels like about a million years since the latest season of Archer graced our televisions and computers. But it's seems like it not going to coming back until March of 2016. The original release date was January 7th 2016. But with all draw backs we can be thankful that our show was renewed for Season 7 and 8. So we won't get losing the gang at all! ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ Usually when it comes to Archer season they are very tight lipped and still Andy Reed (Ray) is not spilling too many details. According to I digital spy  "It’s not going to be business as usual. Neither is it going to be a total departure from the original, like Archer Vice was." As most of know Archer Vice was a hit and miss with some fans of the spy comedy. I myself thought Archer Vice was a cool spin and I wish Andy Reed could have did more. If you watch Archer's vice flash back from the first episode of that season, you will notice a lot of things did not happen lol. Gift footage below!
There are a few others but you can get the point out of these! Thank you Uproxx! I noticed them too but I'm not the ulimate gift maker.
Andy Reed stated "We are a little behind schedule this season, because we are refreshing Archer for Season 7. It’s not a reboot, but we are creating tons and tons of new elements: wardrobe, weapons, cars, the sets… So we’re drawing so much that we’re a little behind, and we don’t have the season premiere as we usually do. Not one to spoil it all, I can say that it’s more sexy and dangerous than ever. Or equally as sexy and dangerous."
FX has decided to move Archer to FXX, their "edgier" sister network. Most people see this as a "death sign" for the show even though it has been renewed to season 8. Most people do not have FXX and that can be problematic when it comes to ratings and keeping the show alive. I feel if you are a fan of a show, you would get on your PC and watch it on Hulu or Daily Motion, if you don't have the FXX network. Archer is not alone. Andy Reed is creating another show called Cassius and Clay, which I be paired with the show. Also, it's Always Sunny is moving to FXX as well.
Cassius and Clay... Above. I will make a separate card about this series.
You tube has a couple of tease clips floating around. I don't know what you can gather but I will post them. Also remember, we can't always trust the Internet lol. This is what I could dig up so far. Also, what I deem to be the most creditable. My theory on the push back probably had to do with the death of George Coe who played Woodhouse. Before his death many media source, including Andy Reed himself said Woodhouse was suppose to play a big role in the next season. All we can do is be patient and act like we did not have LSD gummy bears like Cheryl
Agent L A "Hexed Vixen" York out
I trust that season 7 will be just as great as the other 6. With season 8 already approved I don't think we have anything to worry about.
I don't watch television AT ALL so the move dosnt affect me in any way lol. I'm never home to catch a show when it comes on anyway so the Internet is my best friend. 😁. Edgier and sexier than last season...really now? yassss!! (laughs maniacally) 😈
yay!I can't wait!
I have only a few shows that I watch on FX myself, so I totally understand.
also, sidebar, I was disappointed that FX didn't put the new Fargo on Hulu proper...I mean sure, you can see it, but you gotta pay extra for the whole channel. and I only watch MAYBE 5 shows from FX...tops. I know, personal problem ;) rant over
