This DIY project is perfect for repurposing all of those old t-shirts that you don't wear anymore but don't want to throw them away – turn them into art to decorate your living space. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at The Not So Blank Canvas.
For this project, you will need:
-- Old t-shirts
-- Wood stapler (you can find this at hardware store) or thumb tacks
You can find the majority of these items at a craft store.
Wrap the t-shirt around the canvas
Wrap a t-shirt around the canvas while making sure the main part of the t-shirt is centered in the middle of the canvas.
Staple the t-shirt to the canvas
Use the wood stapler or thumb tacks to attach the t-shirt to the back of the canvas. If you need help putting the thumb tacks in the wood on the canvas, you can use a hammer to help you.
Cut off the excess t-shirt
Use the scissors to cut off any excess fabric from the t-shirt on the back of the canvas.
Arrange the t-shirt canvases in your living space and enjoy!
