Are Clippers Destined To Remain A Middle Of The Pack Team?
It may be early in the NBA season, but the Clippers as a franchise may be at a crossroad.
The Clippers have faced the three top teams in the West and have come up short every matchup. At the moment, the Clippers are 0-4 against the Spurs, Warriors and Thunder.

Is time up for the Clippers?

"The great teams are able to bring it every night, no matter who they are playing against," Paul said. "That's why the Spurs, Warriors, and those types of teams have the record that they do. For us, we have had different lineups every night and different guys in and out, but that is part of fielding a great team. That's what we are trying to do here."
The Clippers re-signed DeAndre Jordan and bought in Lance Stephenson, Paul Pierce and Josh Smith this summer. The team has added a lot of depth but is still coming up short in big games. While they have the star power, the team lacks a closer. Blake has yet to develop a go-to offensive move and Chris Paul is naturally a facilitator at point guard.

It certainly looks like it at this point in the season....but when I look at their squad, they should not be a middle of the pack team. They have so much potential...

I think they'll figure things out eventually, either during this season or over the next two years. Sometimes great teams need time to get the kinks worked out. This is the year that they really need to take that next step towards greatness, and if they can't then I would start to worry about their future.
