Hey Vingle Nakama!
So a friend of mine just told me at length about this anime I'd never heard before. We were talking about stuff like Aldnoah Zero and Evangelion, and other giant mech anime and he told me about this cool one called Break Blade.
Here's a short description:
In the continent of Cruzon, an impending war between the Kingdom of Krisna and the nation of Athens is brimming. The people of this land are able to use quartz for whatever purpose they desire. Yet one person, Rygart Arrow, is not. He is an "un-sorcerer," a person unable to use quartz. But this characteristic will enable him to pilot an ancient Golem, one strong enough to put up a fight against the invading army of Athens.
I love me some giant fighting mechs. I don't know what it is. It might be a weird power fantasy, where I still wish that one day I'll wake up and some older mentor-figure will tell me that I have been summoned to pilot a giant battle robot to save the world.
Why can't it be me in a giant battle robot? That'll show you, mom, that maybe I am better than Barry, even though he has his fancy degrees and now he's saving the lives of horses in Chile or some dumb shit, with his stupid dumb face fixing the cleft palates of rabbits.
But anyway, I thought I should share this with all my nakama in the Vingle Anime community! I don't know how many of you have heard of this anime or seen it before, but I think it's super cool and I'm gonna add it on to my list of anime to watch.
I should really try putting a dent in that list soon....
It's actually really good. Each episode is roughly 45 minutes but each of them covers a great amount of backstory and plot. I'd strongly recommend it to anyone.
You know...I started this and for some reason completely forgot about it. *hangs head, slaps back on watch list* I'm thinking I forgot to mark it on a bookmark, and it got tossed aside. T__T I'm awful for doing that when I'm watching multiple things at once.
This looks interesting I'll have to check it out.
I saw the first 3 films. Did they make new movies?
I think I may be adding this to my list to watch, buts it's just so much anime and so little time. x.x
