I had some pretty lousy dates....even back in the days when I assumed I was a straight girl! Since I've come to realize that I'm pansexual, its gotten harder to find someone who will accept me for who I am instead of judging me by my sexuality. But I've learned that it may be hard to land someone who cares about personality and how their partner treats others more than labels and all that other nonsense, but when you do meet that person they're usually worth the wait. If you have someone who loves you for your heart instead of your parts, they're definitely a keeper because they're such a rarity.
Oh my gods! I believe the same thing! I do have a couple of friends who identify as straight and they are completely understanding of this issue. I had one of my female friends ask me what I found attractive in another person She set me up with the sweetest guy, who we've recently added to our group.... after he confided he's also a member of the LGBT community.
My friends friend is Pansexual. Never heard of the phrase, but she informed me with information about what it means. I'm a very open person.
@nickyserban I think it's so hard for Pansexuals to be themselves. Society is slowly coming to grips with homosexuality (finally) but I think there is still a long way to go when it comes to bisexuality and pansexuality. The sooner people realise that people are people, and their preferences and genders do not define them the better.
