Hello amigos! I remember @jordanhamilton created a card about Cleansing Micellar Water. Here is a link to her card. Basically she talks about the facial product and some cheaper and more high end brands of this product. After reading it I just had to try. I'm always looking for something to keep my skin clean and flawless.
This was the cheaper brand that she spoke about in her card. I went looking for this and couldn't find it today, but I found a different brand.
This is the back of the bottle with more information about the product.
I'm still on the hunt for the above product. However, I did find a different brand called Simple. This was about $8.49 at Rite Aid. It probably would have been cheaper at a makeup store or Walmart. However, I will hit those stores up later this weekend. I have super sensitive skin, so I thought this product should be fine since they claim to be "sensitive skin experts".
Benefits of using Cleansing Micellar Water
I read this article on the benefits on using this product. Here is the link to the full article.
What is Micellar Water?
This video breaks down what this product actually is. This has been used in other countries like the UK, but is new in the USA.
Youtube Reviews on Simple I haven't tired it with a full fave of makeup, but both women do say that it was a challenge to use this product to take off makeup. They had to use several applications of this product to remove a full face of makeup.
My first impressions
I applied it to my face after running errands and I had on no makeup. LOL don't tell anybody! I wanted to see how it would work without makeup first. It doesn't have a perfume like smell, but it did have an odd faint smell. Idk how to describe it, but it's not horrible. My face felt refreshed after using it. I felt like so much dirt came off. Yucky! My fave did not feel dry.
