How adorable are these New Year's Eve decorations?! These decorations will be perfect for a NYE party or get-together with your friends or family. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at No Biggie.
For this project, you will need:
-- 4 empty glass bottles (this tutorial used empty Martinelli's bottles)
-- 4 numbers of 2016 (you can find these at craft stores)
-- Gold spray paint
-- Coarse gold glitter
-- Matte Mod Podge
-- Gold ribbon
-- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
You can find all of these items at a craft store.
Spray paint the glass bottles
Use the gold spray paint to completely cover the glass bottles in gold paint. Make sure you do this in a well-ventilated area or outside because of the paint fumes. You may need to do a few coats to get a completely opaque look. Let the paint dry in between each coat of paint.
Paint the numbers
Use the spray paint to also paint a coat of paint on the numbers. Then, apply a coat of matte Mod Podge on the numbers, followed by coarse glitter to add some extra flair. Let the paint dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Assemble the decorations
Use the hot-glue gun to glue the numbers on the front of the bottle. Then, tie ribbon around the top of the bottles and use the scissors to curl the ribbon.
Set up the NYE decorations for a fun party and enjoy!
