How perfect is this? Champagne jello shots?! I didn't think jello shots could get any better, but this just took the jello shot game to a whole new level! This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Erica's Sweet Tooth.
For this project, you will need:
-- Champagne (use your favorite type)
-- 3 envelopes of unflavored gelatin
-- 1 tablespoon of sugar
-- White sparkling sugar
-- Sauce pan
-- Loaf pan
You can find all of these items at a grocery store.
Assemble the champagne jello shots
This recipe is incredibly simple. Place 10 oz of champagne in a sauce pan and then sprinkle the gelatin on top of the champagne. Allow the gelatin to melt into the champagne for about 2 minutes. Turn on low heat and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. It should take about 2-3 minutes for this to happen. Remove from heat and then add another 5 oz of champagne. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan. Then, put in the refrigerator for about an hour until the jello firms.
Once the jello is firm, use a knife dipped in hot water to cleanly cut the jello into squares. Then, top the jello squares with white sparkling sugar.
Set the jello shots out at your next party and enjoy the delicious treat!
