DIY glitter New Year candles
This is a great project to decorate your apartment for the new year. It's also incredibly easy! These glitter candles are perfect if you are spending New Year's Eve at home, enjoying some champagne and watching the ball drop on TV. This DIY tutorial comes from the wonderful people at Celebrations.

Materials

For this project, you will need:
-- 4 white candles
-- Glitter in four different colors
-- Mod Podge
-- Sponge brush
-- Adhesive vinyl (you can find this online)
You can find all of these items at a craft store.

Assemble the glitter candles

Cut the numbers for the year out of the adhesive vinyl — use 2-0-1-6. Then, place the adhesive vinyl on the candles. Then, use the sponge brush to paint Mod Podge over the entire outside of the candle. Then, put glitter on all of the candle. Let the Mod Podge dry completely. Then, remove the adhesive vinyl.

Light the glitter candles and enjoy the celebrations into your New Year's Eve!
