Top 20 longest notes by K-pop stars

I was just wandering through youtube when I came across this video. Jesus Christ these people can hold notes! I lost my breath just listening to them and the person who took No. 1 shocked me the most OoO I never knew a person can hold a note this long and it was also stable.

Jinki has some great lungs, and it's so clear and steady! That's what I call a sustained note. No warbling or changing the pitch to last longer. Yay SHINee boys!
My boys in top 5 and Onew as 1st place!! I wondered where Jong and Onew would place when i started it ^^

K-Idols with tattoos pt. 1
So I know in South Korea tattoos are still somewhat taboo and a very sensitive subject but as a girl with tattoos this is a topic I'm very passionate about. As I stated I have 3 tattoos so obviously I'm all for them. I don't like how they have such a bad stigma because now a days they're a form of expression and they're art. They're a form of strength, encouragement, reminders and memorials. So I kinda wanted to do a card all about k-idols (the ones I could find anyway) who went against the grain and got tattoos despite the way they're viewed. #1 Winner's Mino Meaning: "then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you." I Can't Deal With Fandoms {The 5th GAON Chart Kpop Awards'}
So I'm just making this card for the people who missed this award show, I started watching it at 6:00am for me. Somehow my body knew this award show was on and woke me up. I catched the last half of the performances but I couldn't help but be disgusted by the live chat beside the video. There was so much negativity, I literally couldn't even bear to look at the chat. But before I get into that, I want to show you guys who performed and what rewards they received. B.A.P "Wild, Young & Free" First of all the intro was so good I almost fell out of my bed. So B.A.P of course performed this song and killed it. They all looked good esepecially Youngjae's contacts and Himchan's hair. They won the "Hot Trend Of The Year" award along with Baek Ah Yeon. Red Velvet "Automatic" and "Ice Cream Cake" I'm so glad Red Velvet performed both of these songs because they are both of my favorite songs by them besides "Dumb Dumb". They did a great job with the performance. They won the "Hot Performance Of They Year"award. Zion.T "Yanghwa Bridge" I'm so glad he performed this song because I can't get enough of it, it is so good. His voice is just perfect both live and recorded, you can't even tell the difference. He won the "Discovery Of The Year R&B Award". Mad Clown "Fire" and "Sour Grapes" He won the "Artist of Year" during January. AOA Cream "Heart Attack" and "I'm Jelly Bean" They won the "World Rookie Of They Year Award" *this is the time where I started watching* IKON "My Type" and "Dumb And Dumber" Aside from the 15 dabs Bobby did in this live performance this performance was alright. The background music was a little to fast for them and they struggled to catch up but they did good overall. They won the "Artist of The Year" for September and "New Artist Of The Year" along with GFriend. SEVENTEEN "Mansae" and "Shining Diamond" Seventeen surprise me with this performance, it was unique they way they introduce themselves and really worked for them. They won the "World Rookie Of The Year" along with AOA. Taeyon "I" My girl Taeyeon did great with this performance and it was so beautiful too. She won the "Artist Of The Year" for October Zico "Boys And Girls" Of course this bias wrecker had to perform as well and "Boys And Girls" are one of my favoirite songs by him. He won the "Artist Of The Year" for November Vixx "Chained Up" I got so happy when I saw N's sassines in this live performance. The remix of this song is always good and Ravi just destroyed my life like always. His shirt didn't come off in this performance which is kind of bittersweet but thier performance was still great. Which might explained why they won the "Hot Performance Award of The Year". This is where the fandoms wars start to erupt in the live chat, So in each block will be some comments other fans said about their group or other groups....WARNING YOU MAY GET MAD AT SOME OF THESE COMMENTS!! BTS "I Need You" and "Dope" BTS killed their performance and they look so good in their classy suits. They won the "K-Pop World Hallyu Star Award". I was partially glad when BTS performed because I thought that would stop the wave of BTS comments but instead it made it worse with fans saying "That wasn't long enough", "BTS needed more time", and they also made insulted the other performers as well. I got so tired of seeing BTS in the comment section that I just started to ignore the live chat. EXO "Exodus", "Call Me Baby" and "Love Me Right" EXO left a path of destruction that killed me and my ears. It was so good although I think they could've had better mics because we could barely hear them. They won the "Artist Of The Year(album)" for the first, second and fourth quarter and the "Fan Vote Popularity Award". Sehun also recieved the award "Weibo Star Award". Now EXO fans were totally inappropriate with comments like... -"This is boring, Big Bang is winning all the awards" -"They(Big Bang) look like beggers on stage." And many others that were horrible. Big Bang "Bae Bae", "Bang Bang Bang" and "We Like 2 Party" Big Bang killed it but is that really something new...They all look so good and happy and of course Seungri had to do another Sehun moment with a member of Super Junior. I'm so glad they were enjoying themselves. They won the "Artist Of The Year" for May, June, July and August. They also won the "YinYueTai Most Influential Group in Asia Award". But the sad part about this is that their fans in the live chat were arguing with other people. They were the worst in the live chat. Comments included stuff like.... -"Exo has no quality on their work" -"Exo rappers can't rap worth nothing" -They even said that EXO had the worst live performance. Again this is not all the negative comments I saw in the chat. Besides the negative comments that I saw during the show everything was awesome and I will continue to watch this award show the next time it comes on. 7 Years...7 Reasons
So to celebrate Infinite's 7 year anniversary I decided to count down the 7 reasons why these boys are my entire world and shy I love them so much. **brace yourself this will be long** 7). Their brotherhood bond. Over the past 7 years I have seen these boys grow extremely close, closer than many groups. They have become nothing short of a family. They together have gone through so many ups and down, good times and bad, have laughed and cried together but all of this has only strengthened their bond and has brought them closer. https://youtu.be/TXxymCBvBg0 6). Their crazy antics. Infinite is hands down some of the craziest group of boys I have ever seen. They honestly couldn't care less about their image all they care about is having fun with one another and making people laugh. They're very down to earth and chill guys despite being idols. They've never let the fame go their head and they remember that they're just like everyone else and it shows in their actions. They may not act like that but if you watch them you can tell that they're still the modest group of guys that debuted 7 years ago. Whenever I'm down and in need of cheering up and/or just need/want a good laugh to the point where I'm in or on the verge of tears I always turn to these boys. And they never fail to cheer me up. Which leads me to my next reason. https://youtu.be/QPSq0u4kK3o 5). Their modesty and kindness. Again Infinite has not once lost their personalities and attitudes/behaviors just because they're idols now. They are still extremely respectful, modest, kind, caring, considerate, generous, thoughtful, appreciative...and so on young men. They are always quick and eager to show their love and appreciation to us Inspirits or anyone they happen to meet and/or work with. They're extremely humble and never take anything for granted. Every time they have ever won an award or after the end of their concerts when they give their speeches and they're crying happy tears I am always ending up crying with them because you can feel the strong emotions of thankfulness, appreciation, happiness and love and you know what they say is 100% genuine and always from the heart and is never said because "it's what people want to hear." https://youtu.be/C2-_XK8I9eA https://youtu.be/qXZUAOkCNmU 4). Their acting skills. Now not every member has had the chance to act...yet. But the fact that the majority of them have been in drama's, movies, skits (SNL Korea) and musicals is no small feat. It's crazy but incredible to think that there really isn't much these boys can't do. And they all work hard to become the best they can be at whatever they're doing but I will go into that more further into the card. https://youtu.be/kxNhc4hpv6k 3). Their voices. Oh my god their voices. The voices of angels. They have such unique, one of a kind, voices. I have never heard voices like that and never will. All 7 of them have such a huge range and have very strong vocals. And they're all talented in all aspects, like rappers can sing and even the singers can rap. And just like their voices their sound as a group is one of a kind and even after every comeback they always mix up these sound but at the same time is still the same exact sound they've had since debut that is distinct to Infinite and Infinite only. So you are always able to recognize Infinite as soon you hear their song. Just like their voices you can always differentiate who is who when they sings because they're so unique and no two members have the same or similar voice. They're Kings and legends for a reason. https://youtu.be/UBKrQs57N9Y https://youtu.be/X492e-DHUnY https://youtu.be/GJHgR03bGwA https://youtu.be/38_pF-x4ZqM https://youtu.be/1KK7THFkOVY https://youtu.be/gFzw0VqvHZU 2). Their dancing. They're not called the Synchronization Kings for nothing. Even from the beginning Infinite has been one of the best and most synchronized groups in kpop. And rightfully so. They know their own bodies and each other bodies so well and practice so much it's no wonder they're dancing and choreo is always flawless and in synch with one another. They really do move as one. Not to mention the now popular Scorpion Dance our very own Hoya created. I swear there's absolutely nothing this group can't do. https://youtu.be/F8s8v9Mj8XM https://youtu.be/znxqh60w5p8 https://youtu.be/0_CyXpP5dyY https://youtu.be/RTXmhKapmCI And lastly... 1). Their hard work, dedication and the fact that they inspire me so much. So I know a lot of people say this about a lot of groups but for me this is very true about Infinite. From their trainee days up until now Infinite has always given it their all in everything they do. They would barely eat or sleep just so they perfect a dance routine, would go hours without stopping to film an mv, work through sickness even put their own safety and wellbeing on the line for their dream and each other. There have been many times where they could've just decided to throw in the towel and call it quits and have been injured really badly (Sunggyu's rib injury, Hoya and Sunggyu's ankle injury, Sungjong's recent incident...) and as individuals and as a group have gone through hell and back but never once did they ever consider giving up. https://youtu.be/HqfvDDyoc_Q They thought of everyone else before they thought of themselves, why they started and chose this life in the first place and what their dreams/goals are so they for these reasons get back up and continue to push onward with the others by their side giving them the strength and courage to keep going. They're some of the hardest working groups as well. https://youtu.be/aOc6bkhjR1k Which leads to them being my biggest source of strength and encouragement. They inspire me and encourage me every day to keep going no matter how hard things get and seem to be and to keep fighting and pushing forward and in the end and after all my hard work everything will pay off and good things will come. I'm about to get cliche but what I'm about to say is 100% true. If it weren't for Infinite I probably wouldn't be alive right now, overcome everything I have, fought through everything I have and still have the strength and courage to keep going and to never give up. They have helped me in so many ways and have made my life so much better than what it was. I won't go into details cause it's personal but I was in a very dark place when they debuted and came into my life but as soon as they did my life did a complete 180. I wasn't something that happened overnight it took a lot of strength to pull myself from that dark place but I did thanks to the strength and courage I got from these 7 boys, which I still get from them, that I didn't or can't get anywhere else. I wouldn't be half the person I am today if it hadn't been for my sunshines coming into my life, I owe them so much. https://youtu.be/JzYzx33oSj4 https://youtu.be/YPhz-k3_xSQ So when I say I love these boys so much and that they're my everything and my entire world I do not say or mean that lightly. I don't throw those terms around casually or often so when I do you know it's genuine and there's a very good reason for me to use those terms. With all of that said I am going to wrap this card up. Happy 7th Anniversary Infinite and Inspirit and here's to many more. After all "It's not a happy ending, but never ending." **if you would like to tagged or untagged comment below**
EXO To Debut in Japan: Who Has The Best Japanese Singles?
So I just heard that EXO is debuting in Japan... "According to music officials on August 25th, preparations for EXO’s debut Japanese album is underway, however, the release date has not been set though it is highly possible that they will release it at the end of the year." And it got me thinking about all the Kpop/Jpop crossovers that I LOVE. Below I listed my four favorite Japanese tracks by Korean artists that you MUUUUUST listen to. Big Bang - Koe wo Kikasete I love all of Big Bang's Japanese singles - mainly because I was in Japan when they first debuted and I had to convince my host family that Kpop was the next big thing. For some reason though, this is the song I love the most. It's a gorgeous video plus just a gorgeous track! Infinite - She's Back (Japanese Version) I'm usually not a huge fan of Japanese remakes (I prefer original Japanese songs) because the Japanese lyrics tend to not fit will with the beat that was written for the Korean words. For some reason though, I really, really like the Japanese version of She's Back. Hoya's rap is amaaaaazing. TVXQ - Why Did I Fall in Love With You? I will always be a TVXQ 5EVER Cassiopeia. I honestly can't bring myself to listen to the new TVXQ stuff because these five boys are the reason I got into Kpop in the first place. TVXQ were the first Koreans to really break into the Jpop scene. They had to start back at the bottom of the food chain and were treated like rookies and nobodies because, in Japan, they were! Now it's easy for Kpop groups to make Japanese debuts and that is all thanks to the suffering of TVXQ. I seriously love these boys to pieces and just listening to this song makes me want to cry for them. This song is heart breaking, beautiful, and shows just how talented the members of TVXQ really are. TVXQ - Stand By U I studied Japanese for two years and this was one of the first songs I listened to where I actually understood every word. This is another heartbreaking song that takes my breath away. I'm not really a ballad person when it comes to Kpop but something about Japanese ballads makes me so happy. I could also add B1A4's Japanese singles (but not their Japanese remakes cause the Japanese just sounds awkward LOL), SNSD, and CN Blue to the list!!! I want to get back into studying Japanese so send me tracks to listen to! List your favorites in the comments: Also just a shameless VIXX promotion but they just dropped a new PV...
The Bachelor (Charity) Event!
So once a month I will be hosting a Bachelor type of event and here's how it'll go. Which guy do you want? Once a month I will bring to you six different choices of either Korean Hip Hop, K- pop idol's or Korean actors. Based off of their "date plan" you guys will get to choose who advances to the next round. Rose Ceremony Our Rose ceremony is basically in the comments. Everyone will place the name of the bachelor they'd "give a rose" to in the comments. The least amount of votes is the Bachelor that gets kicked off. Who wins? Here's how the game works, you all will work to eliminate every Bachelor until there is only one remaining. But here's the charity part: Each bachelor has a secret number attached to them between the number of 1-75$. What ever Bachelor wins their secret number will be the amount I donate to a charity for the month. Ready to Play? No one will know what's being donated until the final bachelor wins (including me). All you guys have to worry about is casting a vote and wait to see how much goes to charity. As time goes by, the number range may go up but for now it's just 1-75$. So if you want to play, make sure to follow me and I have a Bachelor Collection available for you to follow as well. Bring on the Man candy!
