It's love at first sight when Seo In-ha (Jang Geun-suk) and Kim Yoon-hee (Im Yoona) meet as shy university students in the seventies. It takes time for the hesitant pair to finally voice their feelings, but circumstances beyond their control send them down different paths. In 2012, In-ha (Jung Jin-young) is now unhappily married to Baek Hye-jung, one of Yoon-hee's former best friends. He has never gotten over his first love, and when he runs into Yoon-hee (Lee Mi-sook) after so many years, the two reconcile and look forward to making up for lost time. In-ha's son Seo Joon (Jang Geun-suk) is a photographer, and he bumps into Yoon-hee's daughter Jung Ha-na (Im Yoona) by chance. Unlike her mother, Ha-na is a cheerful and vivacious girl, and though they initially find each other troublesome, even as they argue, they can't help but be drawn to each other. Gradually their feelings develop, and Joon and Ha-na fall in love. Unaware that their children are dating each other, Seo In-ha (Jung Jin-young) and Kim Yoon-hee (Lee Mi-sook) announce that they are getting married, which will make Joon and Ha-na step-siblings. As both couples deal with the shock, Joon and Ha-na struggle with sacrificing their love for their parents' long-aborted happiness.
Seo Joon (Jang Geun-Suk)! This was my 1st Jang Geun Suk drama and I'm so glad it was because I thought this was such an adorable drama. Seo Joon's personality is a little crabby, but he's so funny and cute. He's really attractive with his camera at his side. It shows his charming side. I don't like the 70s version of him because he's sort of creepy and his hair really bugged me. But after 3 episodes I finally got to meet this Prince who is way cuter even though it's the same person. He's more fashionable and his hair makes him look so hot! I fell in love with Jang Geun Suk after this drama.
This drama has so many great quotes but these two are the most memorable of them all. They repeat these quotes alot especially the one stating that, "Love means never having to say you're sorry". I love how deep the meaning behind the quotes are!
Jung Ha-na (Yoona)
The 1st time I saw Yoona, I thought she was the most gorgeous human being ever. She is so pretty, I'm jealous of her. Yoona can pull off a pony tail and look like a little girl but still be beautiful. She's one lucky girl to be able to kiss Jang Geun-Suk at that. She is a great actress as well, being able to play a serious, shy girl isn't that easy and then playing someone who is extremely cheerful and outgoing who isn't shy at all. I knew she was a good singer and dancer. But a great actor too.
Jung Ha-na's Love Interests:
Kim Shi-hoo (Kim Young-Joon) and Han Tae-sung (Kim Young-kwang) are both sweet and caring characters who love Ha-na and want her to be happy even if it means her not being with them.
SEO IN-GUK FANS:
Seo In-Guk plays in this drama. I know a lot of people love him, I liked him alot in "Reply 1997". This was also my first Seo In-Guk drama which I didn't realize until a while ago. I thought " The Master's Sun" was the 1st drama I saw him in but it wasn't... He plays a character from the 70s and someone in the present who is a musician in both time periods!
70s VS. 2012!
Which Yoona and Jang Geun-Suk couple did you like more? I loved the 2012 couple so much more! The 70s couple were too awkward and made me uncomfortable.
I love this couple so much. They fit one another so well with their personalities and looks. So adorable and make me squeal at their cuteness. I can feel strong chemistry between these two. This is my favorite Jang Geun-Suk couple. They love each other so much. He fell for her in 3 seconds like his father and they were both willing to forget each other for their parents happiness but thankfully the parents let them be together because they care about their kids happiness more then theirs. There are so many sweet moments between them. All of the feels are coming back to me!
The Fountain Kiss
Again and Again by Yozoh it's such a beautiful song, I love it. I couldn't find a video with the original song but here's a piano cover which sounds amazing!
I love this drama so much. It was amazing actors and it's so funny! It made me an emotional rock but I loved it. The main characters are so cute together. I really like OST's because I still listen to them even after a few months after watching the drama and I don't do that with many shows because there are some OST's that are very forgettable. It had some really funny scenes like the 1st kiss scene. After Seo Joon kisses Ha-na his reaction when she wakes up is priceless, it makes me laugh everytime. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it took 3 episodes to go to present day but once it did I got hooked. So it's okay!
9.5/10 - I would've given it a perfect 10 if the beginning didn't drag 's on long but trust me once you get through the 1st 3 episodes you'll be hooked like I did! It's really worth watching. It's adorable!!!
