30 Day Music Challenge - Days 17 - 19

Ciao, amici!

I'm sorry I missed a couple of days over the weekend. I quite literally slept through it all. So let's make up for lost time, shall we?

Day 17: A Song That You Hear Often On The Radio

"Cake By The Ocean" by DNCE is super popular around here right now. I'm not complaining. It's a lot of fun and I've been enjoying it, myself. Besides, did you see that lead singer @nicolejb?! YEAH!

Day 18: A Song That You Wish You Heard On The Radio

"Moon Like the Star" by The Vane is an amazing song. It's one of those songs that hit me sideways the moment I heard it. The first single that The Vane release was a driving rock song called "Beck" so I was shocked when "Moon Like The Star" was their next release. It's so peaceful and ethereal! My partner and I liked it so much that we pulled it for chores. I'd love to hear it on the radio when I'm dealing with crazy nonsense it the everyday world.

Day 19: A Song From Your Favorite Album

I split this into two albums. This block is my fave long time album, "Only You" by Harry Connick Jr. I've been crushing on this particular album for 10 years or so. Harry and I have been having a private affair (((IN MY HEAD))) for a lot longer. 馃槷馃槼 The song I selected as my favorite song off of the album, "All These Things". Super sexy man, super sexy voice, super sexy lyrics, super sexy album = SUPER. SEXY. RESULTS. For. Real. I'm going to marry you some day, Harry. (Shut up and let me dream, People.)
I was introduced to Rory Rodriquez and his album and song, "Picture Without Color" late summer/early fall 2015. Thank you for that, dates that be, aka @Arellano1052. I fell in love with the song immediately and found the album as fast as I could. I still haven't stopped listening to this album on repeat. 馃挏 BRANNNNDON. THANK YOU. 馃挏

BRB FLAILING. I don't know why I appreciate the Jonas Brothers now several years after their relevancy. I don't even know any of their old songs, but now whenever I see one I'm like AHH IT'S A JONAS.

@danidee hahahaha I knoooow! *dodges flailing arms* nostalgia maybe? Though I kinda think it might have to do with the fact that their music is growing up, too. Nick's is older and sexier. Joe's is funner and a party. I think they've grown with us and we can appreciate that! :D
