받으세요! = Please receive!

새해 복 많이 받으세요! = Please/I hope you receive a lot of good fortune in the New Year!

떡국 - Rice Cake Soup

This soup is soooo yummy! It's rice cake, green onion, egg, and occasionally beef :) This is traditionally eaten on New Years!

철 - Honorific Bow

Each year to honor you parents and ancestors, you perform this bow to give thanks and wish for a good new year!

한복 - Traditional Korean Clothing

Not many Koreans own their own hanbok anymore (they're $$$$$) but you'll see a lot of idols wearing them to wish fans happy new year!
