You are in the wrong, Academy Awards.

The Academy Awards have recently been under immense pressure as the Oscar nominations ended with very white and racist results. Once again, no race other than caucasian were represented leading to the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite . 2014 Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o has joined the fight against lack of diversity nominated by The Academy. Her comments echo the same sentiments held by many other stars within the industry. "I am disappointed" is an understatement. With so many amazing being snubbed this year just because of blatant racism, it's time for stars like Nyong'o to take a stand.
In 2016, it's absolutely unacceptable; stars like Jada Pinkett Smith are even boycotting the event all together. Many have waited to see if host, Chris Rock will boycott the event as well, however many claim that it would defeat the point of taking a stand if he were to remove himself as host. It's unclear with how many will boycott the awards however many have thrown harsh remarks at The Academy's black president, Cheryl Boone Isaacs hasn't done more to support diversity.

Chris Rock's jokes this year will be interesting...
