They say an one apple per day will keep the doctor away.

Well, what if I told you that one cry per day was good for the soul. We often associate crying with grief and sadness, but crying can definitely bring about happiness and joy. I know, it sounds absolutely insane -- but think about it. Have you ever found yourself shedding tears and once you're done crying you feel absolutely amazing, as if you could save the world? Okay, maybe that's just me, but it's scientifically proven that a good cry can make you feel so much better. Sometimes it takes that one lyric and sometimes it might even take a broken heart, but after you cry a river like Justin Timberlake -- you're bound to feel like you're on top of the world.
It might sound a bit excessive to cry daily, but if you're feeling down and out -- don't hold it in -- let it out. We all need that release sometimes and tears happen to be the prototype we've been looking for this entire time. After doing a bit of research I found some rather interesting stats from AgingCare stating the benefits of crying. Keep scrolling to see what rolling in the deep might just do for your life and your overall mood.

Crying Has The Ability To:

- Lower Blood Pressure
- Relieve Stress
- Remove Toxins From The Body
- Improves Your Mood
- Keep The Nose Free Of Bacteria
- Cleanse And Protect The Eyes
Crying doesn't make you a baby. Crying just means that you're human.
It's okay, shed those tears. Men, you are not exempt.

What was the last thing you cried about?

Let's all share our answers below.

I feel like I ALWAYS cry. I've always believed that it'd be weirder to keep yourself from crying when something bad happens than just letting yourself cry and get it over with.
