“Aish” you yelled while trying to wipe up the liquid that spilled. You’ve never been very good at cooking. In fact your Mom had said you could burn water if you tried hard enough. You prayed she wasn’t right. You wanted tonight to be special. Your boyfriend was coming over for the first time in a while. You had taken forever getting ready this morning. After some time, you finally had chosen a simple pair of jeans and a cute sweatshirt. You let your hair be its natural curly mess while keeping your makeup natural. Chuckling to yourself you remembered when your boyfriend had tried to count them all. He said that your hair is so big because your heart is so big. Once everything was bubbling away happily on the stove, you sat down and pulled out your laptop. You had so much homework you needed to do. Between work and school, it seemed as if you never had enough time to do anything. There was never enough to sleep, enough time to eat and to be honest sometimes you forget to brush your teeth. After a solid half hour of staring at a blank screen, you decided to check on the food. Popping in your ear buds, you hit play on your BTS playlist. “Run” started to play while you stirred the soup. That irresistible melody had you singing along in no time. “Everything smells great!” a familiar voice said causing you to stop singing. Spinning around you were face to face with your boyfriend. “Jin oppa! I didn’t even hear you come in” you squealed wrapping your arms around him in a hug. He spun you around while yelling “I’m so glad to see you” Setting you down, you stretched up on your tip toes to plant a kiss on his soft lips. God you had missed him. Cupping your face with his hand he leaned in for another kiss. It felt like he was pouring all the kisses he couldn’t give you while he was away on tour into this kiss. After he was satisfied with how breathless you had become, he pulled back and leaned his forehead onto yours. “Did you miss me?” he grinned down at you. “Of course I did! Sit down! Sit down! I made dinner!” After putting everything on the table you realized that you may have went overboard. His mom had told you all of his favorite foods and you decided to make everything. You had even splurged and gotten fresh strawberries. Jin started eating the food you made him like he was never going to get to eat again “I didn’t know you could cook so well! Why didn’t you cook for me before?” he managed to say between bites. You giggled and poked his chipmunk cheeks “You always insist on cooking and I love the food you make. But this time it was my treat!” After you both had finished eating Jin insisted on washing the dishes. “You just got home from a long flight. Why on earth would I let you wash the dishes?!” “ Because I’m trying to be helpful. Now go find us a movie to watch. I haven’t been able to cuddle with you for months and we’re just wasting time arguing right now” Blushing at his words you skipped over to the movie rack and said “I’m in the mood for Mulan. Is that alright?” “Whatever you want Jagi.” Jin joined you on the couch after he finished washing the dishes. You had never figured out how it was possible that you two fit so well together. He was 6 inches taller than you but always seemed to fit together like puzzle pieces. Half way through the movie you realize that Jin had fallen asleep. Kissing his cheek softly, you buried your head into his chest and drifted off to sleep.
