White, simple, and not stuffed with things. This is what I consider a great kitchen.
The lay out seem workable for a no fuss kitc.
I'm the opposite of a pack rat. I can't stand having tons of things around me. Granted, my house still has things,'s things that are pretty essential to the space as you said. Plus, a good cook shouldn't need a billion tools. They should be able to prepare good dishes with whatever tools are at hand. :D
Yep, that's the way to go :D I feel like that should be the approach for any type of room in the house. Sometimes, we hoard too much stuff and not give much thoughts to their actual use in the house and so we end up with piles and piles of useless things. Just stick with the essentials like this give the room so much more space to breathe!
Oh, yeah. Agreed. I went through my kitchen a couple months ago and got rid (to donate) a TON of things. I only kept essential things and got rid of excess. My kitchen and I feel so much lighter and better now.
