The series follows a group of rich, privileged, and elite high school students as they are groomed to take over their families' business empires. These wealthy students seem to have everything under control, except their love lives. Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) is a handsome and wealthy heir to a large Korean conglomerate who is sent to study abroad in the U.S. But in reality, it's a form of exile, as his elder half-brother back home, Kim Won (Choi Jin-hyuk) schemes to take over the family business. While in the States, Kim Tan bumps into Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye), who has arrived from Korea in search of her older sister who claims that she is in need of money for her wedding. When Kim Tan's fiancée, Rachel Yoo (Kim Ji-won), arrives to bring him back to Korea, his heart is torn between love and duty. Both Eun-sang and Kim Tan return to Korea. Slowly, he finds himself falling for her, later realizing that she's the daughter of his family's mute housekeeper. Meanwhile, Rachel's future stepbrother and Kim Tan's former best friend, Choi Young-do (Kim Woo-bin) (who also goes to the same school as Kim Tan and Eun-sang) starts falling for Eun-sang as well. Troubles arise as the heirs realize the differences between money and the real world and they soon learn what love is.

Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) I had to watch this drama for 3 reasons. 1. Lee Min Ho 2. Park Shin-Hye 3. Kang Min Hyuk Kim Tan's personality is so funny. I love when he wore that blue shirt in the 1st episode because he looks extremely handsome in it. He makes me laugh so much. He also made me cry alot in this drama because of how heartbroken he was and that made me hurt inside. He speaks his mind and will do anything to protect the girl he loves. He's such a cute and sweet character who will take any chance he can get to beat up Kim Woo Bin.

Two Important Symbolss!

There are two items that brought Cha Eun Sang and Kim Tan closer when they first met. Those items are the I Love California T-shirt and the Dream Catcher! Such a cute connection between them. You see the Dream Catcher alot more through out the drama.

Choi Young-Do (Kim Woo Bin)

The second male lead known as Kim Woo Bin is part of another love triangle and he gave many girls second lead-syndrome in this show. I wasn't one of the females who got it because I will never betray my love Lee Min Ho. No one tops him in my book. But Young-Do is a rough, stubborn and cocky guy who falls for Eun-Sang but bullies her while trying to make her fall for him, but I don't think that's how it works... He gives up on her and acts like the bad guy for Eun-Sang's sake, so she can be happy with Kim Tan. I felt bad for him, if you watched this show. You know why. There was a really heartbreaking scene between him and Eun-Sang's mom.

Second Main Couple!

Yoon Chan-Young (Kang Min Hyuk) and Lee Bo-Na (Krystal Jung) These two were really cute even though they fought alot because Bo-Na got jealous tons of times and would get mad at Chan-Young thinking that he was cheating every second but he wasn't at all. I love how adorable they are and how Chan-Young likes t OK make Bo-Na mad because he thinks she's cute when she's mad.

Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Cha Eun-Sang (Park Shin-Hye) I've heard all over the place that someone either hates or lives this couple. I for one like this couple (other than their kisses), they are so cute. The only kissed I liked from this couple was the forehead kiss because it didn't look forced or unnatural. They have so many cute moments and the way Kim Tan looks at Eun-Sang is so sweet, it's the look that every girl wishes they would get from a guy. I want someone to look at me like that... They also have alot of funny moments, they are a very humorous couple which I really like.

"Moment" by Changmin (2AM) In my opinion this drama has the best soundtrack, I love almost all of the songs especially this one. I'm not sure why but I love singing it and it makes me want to scream "Love is the Moment". It's that kind of song! I also really love "I'm Saying" by Lee Hong Ki because it has the tension in the beginning and then it hits you, I love the tune and beat.

This scene is both cute and funny. Young-Do trips her and catches her on purpose then drops her in the water to be the bad guy and then when they get out of the water. He gives her his towel when she already has one. Then tells her, "don't catch a cold". I love when Kim Tan comes out and kicks Young-Do in the pool and says, "It slipped" and Young-Do responds with, "It can happen". I love this scene so much, it's so funny!

"The Heirs" is really funny and cute. But there were some flaws like the kiss scenes but that was the only flaw to me and maybe Lee Min Ho's English... I loved all of the music, it has the best OST'S from any other drama I've ever seen! I like the storyline but it wasn't that strong of a plot. Strong actors especially Lee Min Ho and Park Shin-Hye because I could feel their emotions as if they transported to me when I watched them. Kim Tan killed me with his sadness, I was heartbroken when he cried. Great side characters and this drama pulled me in right away. It made me laugh so much, I loved every moment. I really enjoyed it alot!

9/10 - I liked it alot but if the kisses weren't so bad and didn't look forced I would've given it a perfect score. I recommend it if you can handle terrible kiss scenes because it's a really good drama and it's funny!

Have you watched "The Heirs" and did you like it?

I absolutely loved this one! Let's not forget Eun Chang's mom and Kim Tan's biological mother. Their relationship was also one for the books. So so so adorable ❤
