Stealing Jokes is frowned upon heavily in the art of stand up comedy.

Having original and unique content is a big thing for many comedians. As of late, rumors have been swirling that rising star Amy Schumer has been taking content from other comedians and working them in her routines.
In October, Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo premiered on HBO and nabbed praise from critics across the board. However, many people began to notice similarities between one of Schumer’s bits and one performed by the late Patrice O’Neal.
In response to the allegations, Schumer announced that she will be taking a polygraph test along with its unedited results on an upcoming episode of Inside Amy Schumer to clear her name.
“I’m literally going to take a polygraph test and put it on my show this season,” Schumer said. “And I promise whatever the results are — I won’t let them cut.”

If Schumer is guilty, will you lose respect for her work as a comedian?

@marshalledgar I agree. As a writer, I can't be cool with plagiarism.
I hope she didn't steal jokes. that's just wrong
