@blairwitme Yes, indeed. I love her dress!
@YinofYang Gisele is beyond! she killed it! Punk and glamorous and beautiful! This is how it's done!
@blairwitme And they were good risks too! Yep, as much as I like seeing the outfits from the Oscar's, this is a lot of fun too. :)
@YinofYang I also think so too! The Met is always fun and it's such a refreshing feeling to see everybody take risk and not the super fancy strict event like the Oscar's..
Oh, my god. There are some gorgeous outfits. I really like these photos because it looks like they're having so much fun. :)

Holla! Gwen Stefani is Back With a Wicked Video!
It has been way too long since we last heard from Gwen Stefani, in my opinion - and I'm not counting that last No Doubt album. It was okay. Some songs were really jammin. But as a die-hard, longtime No Doubt fan, "okay" just didn't feel good enough. Now it seems we're going to get a little old school with Gwen's new solo album - and that's good news to me! It's no secret - there's now a music video out there for "Spark the Fire," a new song also featuring Pharrell Williams. In the song she says: "Finally remembering what is me - that is what happens when I get with P." Visually and musically it combines some of my favorite parts of solo Gwen and No Doubt. A crazy color palette, a sick club beat, a playful punk edge, and of course, that awesome Gwen Style, pre-glam. As Gwen told ABC News, “It’s kind of a clash of this punk rock, kind of old-school feeling, club feeling, but [with] this really modern emoji world, and it just looks really cool together.” They really decided to hit the emoji hard on this one, with OMGs, LOLs and LUVs all over the place. I have to say it got to me after the first couple of minutes, when I started feeling like the video was throwing up text messages. But I loved the way the video went back to Gwen and No Doubt's roots by referencing the punk and club scene and some wicked outfits. I love her style now, but I really miss her older style, before she went glitzy. Can't blame her though - we all change over the years - she has a right to as well! But it feels good to have that other Gwen back. Her black-dipped hairstyle is SO COOL. She also did a performance of the song on The Voice with Pharrell - and some life-sized emoji! Takes me back to the awesome set for the Tragic Kingdom tour. I'm so excited for the album now! It comes out later this month. I included both the music video and the performance here - so check them out and tell me what you think! What do you prefer, old school No Doubt Gwen, new school glam Gwen, or new-old-school Throwback Gwen?
Watch Gwen's Relationships Evolve For 10 Years
Gwen Stefani's relationships have always been rocky. For better or for worse, they provided Stefani with the material to write some of her best songs. First dating a fellow band mate, Tony, and then marrying Gavin Rossdale. Through Stefani's work, we can watch the whole thing unfold: Sunday Morning This song was about Tony Kanal, Stefani's boyfriend and No Doubt's bassist. They had an incredibly rocky relationship which probably wasn't helped by the amount of songs she wrote talking about how much it sucked. This song was inspired by one of their last fights. "Sappy pathetic little me That was the girl I used to be I know who I am, but who are you? You're not looking like you used to " Bathwater Five years into her relationship with Gavin Rossdale, Stefani was having trouble dealing with his dating style, his long list of lovers, and his flirty personality. He may or may not have cheated on her at this point, but she "can't help" staying with him. "But I still love to wash in your old bathwater Love to think that you couldn't love another I can't help it...you're my kind of man" Running One year before Stefani and Rossdale got married, No Doubt released one of their best albums, Rock Steady. On it, Stefani wrote one of her happiest songs about her soon-to-be husband. This was a hopeful time for the couple. "Me I'm the one you chose Out of all the people You wanted me the most I'm so sorry that I've fallen Help me up lets keep on running Don't let me fall out of love" Detective Aaaaaand then it all turns to shit. Stefani found out that Rossdale is a nasty cheater and wrote one of my favorite songs calling him out. "I feel you must have failed me once again you've let me down Peek in, sneak about I'm gonna snoop and call you out I've caught you, you're hands are red Now I'm your broken hearted detective" Cool But in the mean time, her relationship with Tony improved and she was able to write a song for her solo album about how they are on great terms - they want each other to be happy, they can be friends again, and they're finally at peace. "It's hard to remember how it felt before Now I found the love of my life... Passes things get more comfortable Everything is going right And after all the obstacles It's good to see you now with someone else And it's such a miracle that you and me are still good friends After all that we've been through I know we're cool" Used To Love You After 3 children, getting back together, breaking up, getting back together again, etc, Stefani and Rossdale finally called it quits, divorcing in 2015. Gwen comes to terms with it with one of her latest releases, Used to Love You. "Never thought this would happen Gonna let it sink in, you're gone I don't know, know what I'm feeling I must be dreaming, you're gone Suitcase, band-aids Pulling back out the driveway You go, I'll stay You can keep all the memories I thought I was the best thing that ever happened to you I thought you loved me the most" Make Me Like You Now, Stefani is dating (is engaged to????) Blake Shelton and is over-the-moon happy. Her newest track is all about falling in love unexpectedly. She's happy, poppy, and ready to conquer the world all over again. "Why'd you have to go and make me like you? Yeah this is a feeling I'm not used to Why'd you have to go and make me like you? I'm so mad at you cause now you got me missing you Cause now you got me missing you" Best of luck on your new romance, and thank you for all the music you've created!
How To Handle Your Mints Like Jennifer Lawrence
The moment of realization. PopSugar hilariously collected these priceless gifs of Jennifer Lawrence at her press conference in Madrid during her world tour promoting the Hunger Games Catching Fire Part 1. The three stars of the famous film are known to be extremely close so it's even funnier to see their interactions after Lawrence spills mints all over herself. Below, I've created a slight narrative of the feelings many of us would feel in this kind of situation. "Oh crap. Seriously, how could this possibly happen to me? Okay, act natural. No one will notice. Maybe if I just sink into a my chair I can carefully get the mints to casually roll onto the floor. Crap! I just hit his arm. DON'T LOOK. DON'T. STOP LOOKING. OH. MY. GOD. My life is over. I'm done. I need to leave. But I can't get up they're all over me. Did someone notice? Did they see me spill? Maybe I still have an opportunity to escape. LOL at my life." Awkward look of defeat when your BFF notices. "Yep, this looks bad. No I don't need to hear your snarky comments and sass sir. Okay one of the mints somehow managed to fall into my shoe. Why is this even a real thing? Who literally packages these mints? I'm suing for emotional distress. Okay well now they both know and now they're laughing and now everyone's staring at me. COOL GUYS." The "Don't laugh at me!" face. "That's fine. Everything's fine. Don't give me that Josh! I am not embarrassing. I am a classy young movie star and even though this will be all over the internet tomorrow, it's fine. No really, it's totally fine. I didn't really care to have a mint anyway. I mean, I'm facing the people so I don't need to breathe in their face. Josh stop acting like I'm embarrassing you because I ALREADY KNOW I AM." Be generous and make the best of the situation. This interaction probably went something like, "Josh, would you like one?" Admit defeat. "Well at this point everyone knows now. Of course Josh is telling everyone next to him. So typical. Liam you just keeping making jokes as I pick these off my thousand dollar dress. My designer is going to be so pissed. I'll have to explain this to my publicist. It was ultimately the packaging's fault, right? I had the mints in my hand and now they're everywhere but whatever. Josh stop making explosion hand gestures or I will throw these at you." Pay it forward. "Okay, all done. Here, these are for you Liam. xoxo"
Jennifer Lawrence is Stellar in Latest Joy Trailer
I think we all knew/know that Jennifer Lawrence is an amazing actress. And I don't think any of us forgot this fact but we're definitely reminded in the latest trailer for David O. Russell's Joy. In the trailer, it's clear to see that her performance as the titular Joy is one that many of us will remember for a long time. There are a lot of moments in the trailer where Lawrence shines but the moments that stick out to me the most are at the beginning and the end of the trailer. At the start of it, we get her voice over and since the movie isn't out yet, we're unsure if she's addressing the audience or someone within the realm of the film. Either way, thought, it doesn't really matter. The way she deliver each line sends shivers up my spine. And it's especially moving because in this early portion of the trailer we don't see her face or her body movements. She shows us how much power and skill she has as an actress even when she's not physically on screen. The ending of the trailer, however, puts both of these things together for one of the more tense moments of the trailer. She talks slow and deliberate as Russell moves the camera in closer. And we can see the Robert De Niro on the right side of the frame acting passively; making Lawrence's performance even stronger. She doesn't break eye contact with the person she's speaking to and her words hit like bricks against skulls. To be honest, I felt terrified of the character Lawrence was playing. It made me want to see the movie more than I already do. Joy will be in theaters on Christmas this year.
Madonna Reflects on Her Brief Romance with Tupac Shakur (Wait, What?)
Yesterday Madonna was invited on the Howard Stern Show for a reveal-all interview where she talked about a number of hot topics, including her history of drug use (used to, but not anymore!) and her on-again-off-again friendship with Rosie O'Donnell ("I adore her!"). But perhaps her biggest reveal was when Howard brought up her 1994 appearance on 'The Late Show with David Letterman', controversial for her liberal use of the f-bomb. She cursed so much that it went on to become the most censored episode of any late night talk show in history! "I was mad at [Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot. I was in a weird mood that day," Madonna explained. "I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta." What, what? I don't know what's more brow-raising - the idea of Madonna and Tupac dating, or the fact that dating Tupac apparently brought out Madonna's inner 'gangsta'. According to E!, the couple first were introduced through Rosie Perez, as revealed by Rosie during an interview with Wendy Williams last year. And "Madonna: Like An Icon", an unauthorized biography published in 2007, claimed the two briefly dated one year before Shakur's death. Because of that, Madonna figured it was public knowledge by now. But no, Madge. It really wasn't. And now after seeing this 1994 headline from The Globe, I know I should really be paying more attention to the tabloids.
