When you're a little kid, you have pretty wild ideas of what you want to be when you get older - a cowboy, an astronaut, a ballerina, etc. When you're a 'grown-up', however, I feel like that doesn't really go away, but only changes into more developed thoughts.
Maybe you wish you could be an international rockstar, but a need for financial stability made you feel like it wasn't worth the effort. Maybe you wish you could own your own bakery and spend all day piping frosting onto amazing-looking cakes.
The question I have for you today is:

What do you wish you could be?

Education requirements aside. Talent aside. All complicated factors aside, what kind of career would you go for if you could go outside-the-box?
I'll go first: My dream job would probably be to work on a children's TV show as a set designer. Have you ever noticed how bright and colorful and crazy the backdrops to shows like Yo Gabba Gabba or Sesame Street are? I'd love to be able to be a part of the team that gets to design, plan, and construct them. It just seems so fun!

Okay, now it's your turn!

lol yes it is! There is always a blessing if we will just look for it! Fortunately I do love to cook. My family is currently pressing me to write a cookbook, im just not certain if im up to the task
@dianes6711 A general one? Or a more specific cuisine.
probably a general one. I dont tend to measure or anything and I experiment alot. I know what tastes, textures and even smells go together. From what I have gathered they want me to put all the stuff I cook in a cookbook before I pass on.
@dianes6711 This sounds weird, but my grandmother actually did that with all of our family's really specific ethnic recipes. I follow it all now, and it tastes pretty darn close. But, of course, food like that always tastes better when you're with your whole family lol. When I make it for myself in my apartment, it's a pretty accurate taste but it always feels like there's something A LITTLE lacking...
That is so true! My kids can cook yet they say it doesnt taste right...even when I have watched them and they did everything I would! I think you are right that the missing ingredient is family! I taught them all to cook, clean, shop, sew etc but for most people nothing measures up to mom or gmom doing it.
