"Girlish Number" About Girl Trying to Become a Seiyuu to Air in 2016!
Alright, this news is especially for @Danse because I feel like it's right up their alley :3
A new anime called "Girlish Number" will be airing in 2016, and it sounds kind of interesting.
I know there has been one show like this before, but here's the general plot:
The series follows Chitose Karasuma, a university student who aims to become a voice actress (seiyuu). The stage event listing further indicates that it focuses on the profession of idol seiyuu.
Now, I'm a bit confused about whether this is an anime (for sure it is), a manga, a light novel, or all three.......? All three have been announced, but I can't figure out if its the same story for all of them or just the same title / related material. But they keep saying its an original anime.... if it has a L.N project. I'm confused or the anime will be made first then the LN later? Ah, who knows!
The light novel project is by author Wataru Watari (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru) and illustrator QP:flapper (MM!).

The artwork looks great, so I'll be looking out for more info on this!

Illustrated by Celestial Method illustrator, QP:flapper, the light novel will begin serialization inside the pages of Dengeki G’s Magazine starting January 30, 2016. It will also be getting a manga adaptation, which will be having its mangaka announced in the same issue. Meanwhile, the main cast for the new TV anime will be revealed during the “Game no Dengeki Kanshasai 2016 & Dengeki Bunko Haru no Saiten 2016 & Dengeki Comic Matsuri 2016” event on March 13, which will be attended by Wataru Watari himself. :))

@hikaymm You betcha! ♡ I'm pretty interested to see how it's made into an anime personally, and who will be voicing the parts of course.
