Director of Final Fantasy XV, Hajime Tabata recently scheduled an Active Time Report (which is basically a sit-down session with Tabata as he plays the game for you) on January 30th [NOTE: THIS IS TWO DAYS FROM NOW] at 11:00 PM EST/8PM PST.
During Square Enix's ATR we're going to hear more about magitek armor, burning grass (?), mounting monsters mid-battle (!), and the stealth sections of the game. They also revealed some new screenshots that -- I think -- go with each of the things Tabata is going to cover during the ATR.
You can check out the new screens below with little-to-no commentary on them.

Burning Grass

Maybe this'll help to engulf enemies in flames with your magic or something. I don't know but it's cool that they're using their environment this way.

Mounting Monsters Mid-Battle

I kind of love this, it's always something I've liked in video games. It adds more options for the player in the way they'll confront battles. Also, after playing Episode Duscae, I know there are a bunch of big monsters to fight in-game. So, I'm excited to see how that works.

Forced Stealth Sections

I don't really know what to say about this. Hopefully it doesn't suck.
I'm tagging a bunch of you guys in this because I think some of you guys are interested in Final Fantasy! What do you guys think?
I generally hate when stealth is forced upon the player. like, I went from swinging a 900 pound sword into a giant rhino-raptor, now i have to sneak around this weird militia base?
forced stealth missions are always sketchy
@paulisadroid I shouldn't judge a game base off of looks. Who knows maybe the gameplay is great. Guess we'll find out
@InVinsybll I think it all depends on how they do it. Hopefully it won't be one of those instant fail type of forced stealth.
