Would You Eat This 'Dessert-ception' Donut?

Just as I'm recovering from Manila Social Club's $100 Golden Cristal Donut, it looks I just found a whole new donut fusion food crush!
Fellow foodies on Vingle, allow me to introduce you to the Cinnamon Roll Donut - a traditional glazed donut with a whole cinnamon roll baked inside.

Love donuts? Love cinnamon rolls? This is one of those treats that has you thinking:

"WHY NOT BOTH???"

The Cinnamon Roll Donut is the brainchild of NYC pastry chef Thiago Silva, who used to hold down the incredible dessert menu of Manhattan's trendy seafood restaurant, Catch - where the donut remains available for guests.
For $13 (which is still a little expensive, but definitely not as bad as the aforementioned $100 one), the Cinnamon Roll Donut comes with a scoop of pumpkin ice cream, a spiced rum sabayon, and cherry pomegranate sauce to enhance the flavor of spiced cinnamon.
(You might need to reread that twice if, like me, your brain kept going "YASSS FOOD YASSS!!!" that entire first time. Sometimes we just can't help it.)
So, I might be heavily biased here, but I want to hear from YOU:

Would you guys spring for this donut? Or is $13 for a donut still a little too steep for you?

@AnimeLove300 There is nothing that bacon can't improve
@AnimeLove300 I don't know how you pulled it off but you just made this dessert more perfect. I'm speechless 😦
slather on some bacon and I'll pay more for it 😋
This could be it guys. The best idea for a desert food. I've finally found it. Better believe I'd pay $13 for this. Don't even have to think about it.
@MattK95 yeah, donuts usually get too rich too fast for me too!

The Harry Potter World Food Seems As Magical As It Looks
You'll never believe what's on the menu. It may not be full of magic potions and jumping chocolate frogs but its pretty darn close. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios L.A. has rolled out its menu for the Hogsmeade village including the Three Broomsticks Pub. Ultimately, the food is your typical American grub with British charm. After all, Americans don't need an exact British menu because we already have an American wizarding school for our magical students or what the kids in the states call now-a-days "no maj". To win over any tourist, one must be impressed by food presentation, atmosphere, and service. J.K. Rowling will not let any of these circumstances go to waste as she continues to boast her billion dollar brand. Below is the list of things the menu entails and it looks pretty promising. Obviously there will be alcohol for adults and butter-beer for the kids. In my opinion that sounds like a pretty fun time and I'm sure the food has been tested by many gourmet chefs to make for perfect results. You'll be able to chow down starting April 7th. Breakfast I dare you to figure out which is the American inspired dishes and which are the British inspired dishes. "Traditional" is a key word in their breakfast presentation. You've got plenty of syrup and bacon. However there's also potatoes, eggs, sausage, croissants, and some hardy meats. Obviously you've seen these foods a million times before but its more for the atmosphere of waking up and enjoying the most important meal of the day in Harry Potter's world. Kid's Menu Automatically, the only thing that I want are the chicken fingers in this picture. Obviously the grapes look pretty appetizing and the potatoes wedges are a nice touch. And if you're going for a more Brit lunch, you can get some fish and chips. I'm sure the macaroni and cheese is delicious because if kids are eating this, it better be tolerable because they are not one to hold back their opinion. Lunch Your generic soup and salad lunch combo. Though they are presented very Panera like, they're probably named something goofy. A fish and chips dinner is always a viable fried choice if you're into that type of thing but a chicken pot pie is definitely your better option. I have to admit that the food styling of the chicken salad is absolutely stunning and definitely something that I would gawk at if served to me. Dinner Very hardy, very meaty, and very traditional. There's a lot of incorporation of vegetables and sauces to make it more authentic. The portions do seem rather large and definitely fresh. I'm not sure if I'm too impressed with the dinner since it seems almost too stereotypical American but I guess it does fit the pub atmosphere. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what people think. Dessert Yes, just go for it. Enjoy!
The Christmas Latte to Rule Them All
I've talked about this cafe before, and I'll talk about it again. All That Sweets is hands down my favorite dessert cafe on Earth. Watch my video review here or read below^^ Today I went alone so I passed on a slice of the strawberry shortcake but look how adorable is it! Their cakes are always light and creamy, though the flavors change daily! I've seen chocolate, vanilla, and even kiwi cakes. Instead I opted for one of their amazing macarons. Because I came late in the day, my only option was the chocolate raspberry "merry xmas" heart macaron, but I probably would have chosen that anyway. These flavors also vary with the season but every single one I've ever tried has been absolutely delicious. But of course, the star of the show is my Christmas Tree Latte <3 Their lattes are amazingly intricate, and they have a dozen of them on the menu at all times. The homemade (delicious) whipped cream is covered in melted chocolate, sprinkles, and meringue cookies. I seriously thought I hated meringue until I tried these babies. Now I can't get enough! They sell these for the month of December, and then usually move on to make snowflake or other winter themed lattes. All year 'round they offer rose, raincloud, and even coral styled lattes! This year they also introduced a gingerbread man latte that I was tempted to get, but I had to stick to my traditional tree :) You can also find me here: Tumblr Instagram Twitter Facebook SnapChat: cari.cakez
