Obama may be coming to the end of his presidential term, but he still may be involved in politics at a high level after he leaves the oval office.
At a campaign event in Iowa, on Tuesday, the Clinton noted that the next president could have to appoint up to three Supreme Court justices – and she seemed delighted when a voter proposed Obama as a contender.
"Wow, what a great idea. No one has ever suggested that to me, I love that, wow," Clinton replied. "He may have a few other things to do but I tell you that's a great idea."
When asked about being a Supreme Court justice in November, Obama said "I don't have the temperament to sit in relative solitude and just opine and write from the bench. I want to be in the action a little bit more."
Only time will tell is this will come to pass, but it's hard to envision Obama passing on this high title if offered.
That is.. unless he feels like he has another run in him in four years.
I just can't picture him as a supreme court justice.
@KyleBerke yeah I don't know much about his legal career but it doesn't seem like it was where his passion was
