I really loved this book. I haven't read the sequel(s?), and I am not sure I want to. The ending of this book did not require additional books and I don't want the beauty of the first to be plagued by the potential disappointment of the second. Anyway, the book is creative beyond measure. Brown mixes historical fact with historical conspiracy to create a vivid and captivating mystery with twists and turns and things to learn on every page. If you tend to love history, and you are open-minded enough to just accept the fact that Brown plays conspiracy as if it is fact, and you love a good mystery, then I recmmend this book. I read it in a day, I believe. I couldn't put it down, and for someone who is generally restless and can't make it through more than a chapter at a time, reading a book in a day is HIGHLY impressive.
