I've been following SUPERHOT for some time now simply because of the core game mechanic of time stopping when you stop moving in the game. Well, maybe that's not entirely true. I've read that time doesn't really stop but it slows down a bunch when you're not moving the player character. Either way, that's still really awesome to me.
Yesterday, they announced a release date trailer and everyone -- or just me -- is super excited for the game to come out later this month. One of the first trailers I saw for this game involved someone sidestepping bullets and/or cutting them in half with a sword or something. I don't really remember it was like a year or so ago.
I don't really know how else to describe this game other than that slow-mo/time stop thing that goes on. I wouldn't describe it as too violent because they're all weird pixel-y characters exploding into more pixels. I don't think that's too offensive... Unless you happen to be a pixel, I'm sorry. I guess I need to be a little more careful with what I make cards about.
SUPERHOT will be available for PC and Mac on February 25th, 2016.
