This Sunday, two great quarterbacks will face each other for the biggest battle of their career.
For Cam Newton, this will be his first Super Bowl appearance. For Peyton Manning, it could potentially be the last game of his illustrious career. And although both may be enemies on the field this Sunday, they have expressed their mutual respect for each other.
Peyton Manning, who could be considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, even reached out to say Cam Newton would be the face of the NFL the next eight to eight to ten years.
"Anything the Sheriff says, you can probably ink it in gold."
Cam did not disagree. However, Cam did say he had other more important things to consider for the upcoming game on Sunday, before he starts thinking about becoming the face of the league.
He told the reporters once again that his primary, ultimate goal was to win the Super Bowl.
Although many people have pointed out Cam's cocky attitude, I respect the guy for not only his talent, but also his passion and confidence. He definitely puts in the work and is so focused.
And if you don't like what Cam does, then as Cam put it perfectly...
"I'm a firm believer if you don't like me to do it, then don't let me in (the end zone)."
That's right haters.
