Ovadia& Sons Fall Winter 2013 - Part 2
Among all the slim cargos, that must-have gold button peacoat, and their ability to make old-world tailoring look modern, the message in Ariel and Shimon Ovadia's latest Ovadia & Sons collection is that the duo can bring a playfulness to unabashed elegance. Tailoring was the backbone of their latest lineup, rendered in toothy wools, velvet, and some spot-on for Fall 2013 windowpane patterns, which allowed sportier elements, like washed denim dress shirts and one zig-zag turtleneck Killy would have killed for, to shine. An earthy color palette (brown, shades of green, red) played nicely off the brothers' use of traditional menswear navys and grays, injecting the whole slim silhouetted lineup with some appropriate autumnal flair.
