What I'm still bitter about for day four is the spiderman one more day comic. if anyone don't like spoilers please stop reading, otherwise continue.... what made me bitter about this comic was not the fact Peter and marry Jane gave up there marriage for aunt may, nor the fact Peter made a deal with melfesto, what made me bitter was what melfesto told Peter about his powers....
Melfesto reveals to Peter parker was that his powers did not come from the radiation from the spider but the spider was actually a magical spider that just so happen to get hit with radiation that day..... why..... why throw this curve ball at us like this...
I know I'm ranting but really why do this now after soooo long, I mean this was just as bad as when they said Pluto wasn't a planet and when I read that section of the comic this was my expression... no lie. next thing ya know there gona say Jarvis is really a ghost that took over iron man computer @LAVONYORK @Krystalstar22 @LadyLuna @BellofRay @ComicGeek @AshelyJewell @djdovbl3vp @Eculare @CalebOrr @Beannachtoraibh @shannonl5 @tbanja7 @AleciaReedy @MelissaGarza @DarrenRouton
I most definitely agree. I've been reading comics since 1984 (no comments on my age now people. lol) and I was there throughout the alien costume, marriage to mj, venom, kravens last hunt (still mad they brought him back), clone saga, maximum carnage, you name it, and up until the early 2000's I had read and collected that Spider-Man story. I don't get the same vibe from Spider-Man that free me to him. The man that could put aside his personal problems and go out and, not only fight crime, but make those people he saved feel good. His character is all about using his talents. He uses (sorry, used) humor to distract not only the bad guy, to help him win fights , but also to distract himself and any civilians around from the horribleness of what was going on. It helped him to clear his mind of the bad, and concentrate on what he needed to do. He was a real hero. He deserved the best. Like a beautiful wife that believed in him and saw not only the hero he was and could be, but the man he was as well. Sorry to add my rant, but Spider-Man , the hulk, and iron man were the first comics I read. and Spider-Man and iron man were my favs for almost 20 years. I say bring back the hero, and bring back his reward.
I agree with @shannonl5. Marvel always likes to throw some stupid curve ball somewhere. Honestly I think every character in Marvel have at least one or two Wtf story arcs 馃槀 shame
I'm with you on this one. I didn't like a single thing about this arc. Magic spider, not even bothering to ask MJ what her feelings on the subject were.... not Marvel's best hour
love spider man
@shannonl5 @LAVONYORK they didn't even bother to explain where the spiders orgins came from and why was it there of all places to begin with 馃槯
