Summary: Nanami may be little, but she is far from fragile. She is witty, sassy, and dangerous. She runs her own group of criminals and has been known to love anything and everything shiny, but she will not pay for any of it. She is a thief, and a good one at that. When some of her boys get captured by the police she has to make up her mind to either cancel the heist or find replacements. Just in time, her new neighbors move in and capture her attention with their raw talent. She decides the heist will continue, but how to get the boys to join? Blackmail of course.

Click click click pop. A satisfied smirk crossed her lips when the sound of the final number falling into place rang through her headphones. She pulled them down around her neck and shot a glance at the shadowy figure she knew was Adam. Standing, she dusted off her knees and grabbed ahold of the safes door hatch. With a slight tug she heard the glorious sound of metal scraping metal and the door popped open. “Levi love, we’re in.” She smiled as she pulled open the door and took in the sight of diamonds, rings, jewels, and gold pieces.
“Great! Well you have four minutes to grab and go before security comes back round again.” Levi answered through Nanami’s Bluetooth piece.
This might not have been their biggest heist but they would get enough money to travel to South Korea for their next big gig. Nanami started gently wrapping and packing the goods into the bags placed on the floor next to her. She was aware of Adam walking towards her and handed him the first duffle bag. The second bag was packed in a matter of moments and she handed that one to him as well.
When the safe was empty she pushed the door shut and turned around. “All done here. We are on our way out.”
“Gotcha go out the door and head left. The guard is coming from your right. He will be on top of you in two minutes.” There was no doubting Levi. She was as good with technology and plans as Nanami was with sneaking, safe cracking, and lock picking. The two had been together for as long as they could remember.
Nanami opened the door and peeked around the corner before motioning for Adam to follow her. They quietly made their way down the hall before they turned and headed for the window they had originally climbed through to get in. Nanami jumped out first and waited for Adam to jump through after her. They were met by Eric, and David who went along with them towards the van. They jumped in the van and Levi threw open her arms. “Welcome back one and all!” David jumped in the front and they took off down the street. “I think that was a new safe cracking record Nanami.”
Nanami nodded. “For a jewelry store they really didn’t have much in the way of updated security.” She shrugged and readjusted her ponytail. She watched as the boys all whispered to each other from the front of the van. With a quick look at Levi she nodded and raised her eyebrow.
“Well let’s get back to base and see what we got?” Levi suggested to the guys in the front. Her comment was met with the sound of a soft snort. This time both Nanami and Levi smirked. They both reached out to grab something right before the van made a sharp turn to the left heading back to their base.
The old warehouse came into view as the van came to a stop. Levi and Nanami jumped out of the car, but before they could even make it into the building they found the guys grabbing them and forcing them inside. Nanami chuckled and went along with it. They were dragged to a couple chairs in the middle of the bare room. They apparently had taken the time to clear out all of their equipment when the girls weren’t around. “Well well, do I smell a mutiny?” Nanami looked over towards Levi as she was chained to the chair. She placed the most innocent look she could muster on her face and looked up at Adam as he leaned down to add the pad lock to the chains. “Was I too mean?” Her voice dripped with sarcasm and amusement.
“I don’t think he liked getting his little heart broken.” Levi said with an ‘I pity you’ look towards Adam.
They watched as the muscles in his jaw twitched and he glared at Nanami. “This has nothing to do with that.”
Nanami scoffed and shook her head. “No dear this has everything to do with that. If I would have not told you that you didn’t have a chance in hell, you wouldn’t be mad enough to try and steal from me. Thief or not a guy doesn’t steal from the girl he wants to sleep with. Well at least not until after he already slept with her.” She smirked and watched his face turn bright red in embarrassment and anger. He had been acting funny since she had told him bluntly that he wasn’t her type and he should just focus on his job.
The boys finished tying them up and grabbed the duffle bags. “Well although it’s sad to say goodbye like this. We need to move on to bigger gigs.” Nanami and Levi had not told them about the gig in South Korea and had purposely been doing nothing but small heists for the past couple months. “We made a bargain with Rick. He said if we turn you over to him Nanami he would accept us into his group.” Adam smirked at her like he had just won the war.
Nanami laughed and nodded her head. “Oh I am sure he did. He has been trying to get me to join his group forever. Sadly I don’t take orders well.” She shrugged as much as she could with the chains wrapped up around her. “I suppose they should be here any minute?”
Adam and the others didn’t answer her as they walked out the door. “Well sister dear I think you went and chased off another group of lackeys.” Levi laughed.
“What can I say? It’s not my fault that they end up falling for me?” Nanami made a sour face. She waited until she heard the van pull out of the drive way and quickly went to work. “You would think at least one of them would come up with something more imaginative then locking me to a chair in chains and trying to sale me to someone else though.” She blew a piece of her bangs out of her face. She pulled the lock pick kit out of her jacket sleeve and started working on the pad lock. “I mean, it is always the same. Go do a heist, they start acting strange, they empty the warehouse while they think we are off doing something else, and then they lock me to a chair while they explain what is going to happen to me. It would be nice if they at least picked a more difficult lock.” With her words the pad lock and chains fell to the floor and she moved over to help Levi.
Once Levi was free she pulled out her cell phone and started clicking around. “Tracking on and police notified.” She smiled and pulled a lollipop out of her jacket pocket. “You really don’t like being betrayed do you?”
Nanami laughed “Of course not. Maybe if they were more creative I would have let them get away because Rick would have made their lives hell anyway, but that was insulting.” She said nodding back to the locks and chains. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a black baggy with the more precious diamonds and stones from the heist. She also flashed a smile as she showed Levi the large diamond necklace around her neck. “You would think they would have at least noticed this around my neck.”
Levi smiled and pulled the tickets out of her pocket. “Ready to head for Seoul?” Nanami nodded and the girls made their way out the back door to the black car they had stashed there.
