SM Rookies Entertainment App
I am not sure if anyone else here has this app. It was free so I decided to check it out. I am not too sure what all I am supposed to be doing on it, and I was not sure if everyone knew about, so I thought I could share it.
In the game, you get a be an SM Rookie producer. You even get your own little ID card to clock-in with everyday.
Firstly, you choose which guy you want to produce.
While you are choosing, you get to check out all of their profiles. Firstly, you get to see some general information about each guy. There are some cool statistics, too; it tells you how many people picked them, the genders of the people who picked them, and the age groups that picked them. You also get to check out their little photo galleries.
There are some different activities that you can do. One activity is called "Talking," where you pretty much gain points with your star by taking little quizzes about them. When you get correct answers, you are rewarded with photos.
Everyday, you get to check out their schedules. Today there are no activities on the schedule, but I was able to see yesterday's schedule to see what it is usually like. As their producer, you have to sign off on their schedules each night, and you get rewarded for doing so. There is also a calendar for group events.
This is where I am not sure what else you do in the game with the schedule, or if there is even anything else you can do with it. When I go to "Training," it tells me I have to wait until after the day of casting to interact any more, so I guess I will just have to wait until tomorrow to see.
Under the Producer section there are some subcategories. In one section, you get to vote on different things. There are two ongoing ones right now, which are about Johnny's Birthday gift and his signature number. There is a forum section, but when I clicked on it there was nothing there. There is also a section were you can submit your ideas, but I do not know anything about it because you have to be a certain level producer to do that. There are also events that go on where you can get actual rewards if you do well enough.
Here is SM's trailer for the app if you would like to check that out.
I was doing some reading on it, and there seem to be a lot of mixed feelings about this app. Some people are in love with getting to make some decisions and have some input on the careers of the SM Rookies. Other people dislike the app and think that it is creepy and stalker-ish to know exactly what the guys are doing at any given time. It was free and it is in English if you want to check it out for yourself. When I first found it, I was under the impression that you sort of got to organize your own group, and while I was looking into the app I saw that a lot of other people thought that was what the app was about too, but I was just misinformed. What do you guys think about the app? I felt like there is really not much to do on it, but then again I am not all that informed as far as the SM Rookies go. It might be great for serious fans of them, though. I will tag a few people. Sorry if you are not really interested in it or if you already know about it, but I figured I might as well share. @CamrynCherry @PrincessUnicorn @Kpopandkimchi @Kpopdeluxegirl @TacoMagicMagic @SarahDarwish
