Josh Donaldson is one of the most under-appreciated players in baseball right now.
Right now, he is working on a new contract with the Blue Jays, but it seems as if the two sides are unable to agree on the final number at the moment.
Donaldson is in the prime of his career and producing at a high level.
Jays GM Ross Atkins described his discussions so far with Donaldson as “great” on Thursday, according to, and confirmed the sides were working toward a multi-year contract.
Sources has mentioned that Donaldson is looking for around 11 million a year, which isn't too bad a rate based on his production. The problem is, how will they pay that rate and also afford big deals with Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion?

Do you think Toronto will lose Josh Donaldson?

After numerous balks from the franchise, should he opt against any offer they send now and move on?

I think that if you know your worth, and the organization you want to stay with is pussyfooting "putting a ring on it" , hold your head high and take your talents somewhere they are needed, appreciated and will compensate you well for them.
