Sega CEO Hajime Satomi just announced that the World's Fastest Hedgehog is going to get his own movie in the next couple of years. This is such an amazing idea because... Well, I'll be honest. It's a terrible idea. Especially since it's going to be a "live-action and animation hybrid". Which means they'll probably get Neil Patrick Harris to hang out with the blue guy since he's so good at doing that already (eyyo Smurfs movie joke).
To be completely honest though, I've been really enjoying Sonic Boom -- you know, the kids show -- because it's absolutely ridiculous in terms of writing and part of me doesn't know how they get away with it on a children's program. Part of me is hoping that they'll get the same writers from Sonic Boom to do the show because I'll probably watch it a thousand times.
I mean, look at this guy. Look how ridiculous he looks. He's a fool. And if it's not written in a way that shows how much of a fool that Sonic is, then I don't care. Well, maybe I do care. I just like Sonic being a giant buffoon that only knows how to go fast. And oh man, if he goes super fast maybe this movie'll be super short (eyyo fast joke).
I just hope it isn't...
