Three months after the release of Fallout 4 and Bethesda finally decided to tease some DLC news. Well, they're teasing an announcement for DLC instead of the actual DLC but still, it's good to know that they've still got it in mind. In my experience, Bethesda's DLC has always been top notch so knowing that they might announce something soon as me extremely excited.
They dropped the news earlier on their Facebook page (as you can see above) and I hope that means there'll be an announcement of some sort in the near future. I don't know what "not far off" means but I'm just excited that it's something that's going to be happening... If that makes any sense.
They also announced in a follow up status update that they're going to overhaul the Survival mode. And it sounds like it'll mimic the one included in Fallout: New Vegas which is only good news. It'll definitely up the replay value to the game and I'm interested in seeing what differences there are to NV's Survival mode to Fallout 4's version of the mode.
I only worry that this'll be some kind of paid DLC content. I honestly hope they make this update/overhaul through the patches that come out for the game every now and then. I wouldn't want to pay for something that's just retooling some of the mechanics already included in the game unless it adds a lot more than just a Survival mode.
